Good story if you can get past the performance

I'm not a fan of the way this book is narrated, in particular the way she narrates the Dorian, the king, and Kaltain. It makes me want to pick up the book and read it myself so I can hear it the way I imagine it. I'm planning to get through the entire series in audio format, so maybe the narrator's performance will grow on me.

Now I want a prequel and a sequel

This was a fun listen on my commute this week. I enjoyed the story and the concept. I love other people's idea of how they envision the future. It really makes you question whether or not this is a society you would want to live in. It left me wanting to find out what happened before and after this story takes place. Will listen to more from this author.
