Historia
A window is but a piece of glass through which we view the world outside. It is not meant to distort. It is not intended to do anything but show us things as they are. At Oxford, though, there is a very particular window that reveals a very particular view. It is a view that defies all laws of nature and science. And when a detective is called in to investigate, he is startled to find that view opens a window into his own life–and a mystery he has never been able to solve.

Leaping into Wonderland
Revisado: 05-11-24
The concept for this piece is intriguing, but the short length forced the story to take sudden leaps into absurdity. It leaves me with so many questions.
The actors accents were a bit rusty. The pace felt awkward and jolting. I assume that was due to the short length. This story needs to be longer with more details. That being said, I did enjoy the story.

Historia
Beginning with contemporary efforts to reckon with the legacy of white supremacy in America, Jones returns to the fateful year when a little-known church doctrine emerged that shaped the way five centuries of European Christians would understand the “discovered” world and the people who populated it. From this vantage point, Jones illuminates how the enslavement of Africans was not America’s original sin but, rather, the continuation of acts of genocide and dispossession flowing from the first European contact with Native Americans.

The text is accurate, thorough and doesn’t leave you hopeless. The writer is Maddowesque in his attention to detail. I really enjoyed the book.

Historia
Although the development of nuclear weapons by different countries was one of the reasons why extraterrestrial civilizations began visiting Earth in the World War II era, a more significant and far-reaching explanation exists. However, the truth was not shared for decades due to its disturbing nature. Only today do we know the whole truth. The Earth had become the epicenter of a temporal war involving a future galactic tyranny whose origins lay in a secret agreement reached by Nazi Germany with a group of extraterrestrials called Draco Reptilians.

Revisado: 06-06-22
I read all 3 books and I found them imaginative, engaging and well written. Octavia Butler is brilliant. I’ve read several of her other books but the Zeno genesis series is by far my favorite. It’s sad there might not be anything new from her.

Fascinating Story
Revisado: 03-28-21
I heard about this story on Radio Lab. I was so fascinated that I had to buy the book. The narrators did a great job. His voice was perfect for the content. I enjoyed the details the author included to add background and context. (Too bad about the NYT thing. You live you learn.)The pace of the story moves along smoothly. I recommended this book. I hope they make a movie based about it soon.

Wow!
Revisado: 06-13-17
This was my first introduction to the guides in this book. I was so uplifted and inspired that I immediately purchased some of the other books. The vibratory shift for me was palpable. I've studied many spiritual writings before; ACIM, The bible, the Book of Mormon to name a few, and this book has been for me the next rung on my ladder of spiritual growth. This will not be the right form of the message of love for everyone, but for me all I can say is thank you Paul for being available for this transmission at this time! -Elle C.

Worth the wait!
Revisado: 06-13-17
I eagerly anticipated the arrival of this book. As anticipated, it was worth the wait! The purity of this message uplifs and inspires me. As a student of ACIM I've found the transmission of the guides consistent with The Course's message of love and oneness. Though different from The Course, these teachings are consistent with the message of love. As I digest the insights and teachings of this message, I eagerly anticipate book three. - Elle C

What the heck is wrong with Audible?
Revisado: 11-17-12
If you could sum up Charlotte's Web in three words, what would they be?
Enchanting, delightful, engaging
Who was your favorite character and why?
Wilbur.
What didn’t you like about E.B. White and George Plimpton ’s performance?
E.B.White has a perfect voice for the story.
If you were to make a film of this book, what would be the tag line be?
:-) Pork the new white meat.
Any additional comments?
The performance of the audio books is atrocious! I have no idea why they removed the fast forward/backward and skip features on Audible. This makes replaying or skipping impossible. It's very frustrating!
