Great story. Wonderful narrator. Sometimes hard to hear.

This was a wonderful classic to listen to, but at times the narrators voice goes so low you miss what’s read. Then you have to rewind and listen again with volume maxed out.

Glennon, I don't know exactly how you do it, but you put clothes on thoughts and experiences like none I've read or listened to before. Thank you for addressing so much of what it means to be human! I have given this book to a few friends, I have read it a few times and listened to it. It is one of my Bible's for life. Brings me back home, to me, and resists the norm of culture.

I've been waiting for this book!

I can't tell you how important this book is for empaths! Anita's articulation around this subject is things I've felt for years but didn't hear anyone else talking about AND I didn't have the language for it. I listened to the audio, but I am going to buy teh hardback book too because I will always use it as a reference book. Anita's voice was calm and soothing the entire book. I highly recommend this book to anyone who is highly sensitive or an empath. Thank you Anita!
