Not only is this story about origins, which is always great to hear how the ball got rolling!
This is an encouragement, affirmation, and a word to speak life into where you are as a counselor. Whether your the friend that everybody comes to with a problem, or in leader ship, or in pastoral care, or you’re a professional with your LPC, this book is written in such a way it encourages you that what you do ripples in a family‘s life story for generations to come. I hope you find this book as informative as I did, as encouraging, and inspires you to continue to try to do things where you’re at to make things better is for others. Don’t give up

I love history
I love listening to how people chose to live out their life in the midst of difficult situations. The technical aspects and logistics of it all, as well as the attitude that encompasses life in midst of harrowing situations.
Thanks to the admiral for taking time to share the story of the life of him and his crew during a difficult time in our history. Thank you for being courageous and helping demonstrate leadership characteristics that can still impact generations that are yet to come.
Solid on the edge of your seat story telling. Brilliantly written, and exceptional narration.
Finished in three days (had to come up for air.. ha ha) just could not keep it turned off.

The Journey To Beliefe

It’s amazing travel into the work of Buddhist monks life. His Goal to seek out the truth, and to find enlightenment. It is amazing to hear elder monks to describe Jesus as “DANGEROUS”.
They are right. He didn’t come to bring peace but to bring decision. Thank God he did.
But if you are willing and brave enough to Look into the Word of God, and discover How much He loves you, and How Jesus is prof of that love, you will discover that your life never will be the same.
Don’t take my word for it. See what thus Monk Discovered about Jesus, and why He risked Death to reach out to his village, and his Monastery, and His Monk master that Had helped him become who he was.
This is a real life story of risking it all because of the enlightenment he discovers as a monk. It’s gritty, it’s real, and it’s fascinating Tapestry of God at work around us.

Amazing

It’s always incredible to hear How God works through the life or people, How he seeks them out, and speaks to them through Jesus.
My hope and prayer that, on your Journey, you come to experience the Grace the Jesus extends to us so that you to can have fellowship with out Heavenly Father.
Thank you Tenzin for allowing God to work through to help minister to you people. For sharing your story out of respect, what you lived through, and the compassion you had for those who did not know Jesus.
May our God continue to bless you and open the door to 1000’s of generations of families being changed forever because of what you and your family allow God to do through you.

Passionate and Refreshingly honest

He took time to write this book to try to help people connect with God and have an eternal perspective. I think he did an incredible job of doing that.

One thing I appreciate about authors like him is that he’s refreshingly honest. I appreciate that.

I also appreciate how he allows God to work through his passion and storytelling to try to draw us closer to a eternal perspective.

Thank you Judah for allowing God to work through you in this way. I pray God continues to bless your passion and love for Him and may be our God continue to bless your family as well.

What a moving story of God moving in a man’s life to teach him Who he was, is, and is to Come.
Reminds me of Mike Yocanillie books. To be reminded of God being on the move and that deeply and desperately craves to have a relationship with us, Despite who we are and what we can do for him is moving, overwhelming at times. Thanks you Father for working through Brennan’s life in such away to continue to reveal and speak reckless hope into our lives. Daring us to let Go and dive deep into the healing waters of your grace and be strengthened and widely amazed by the love that you have for us. Amen
This book is not for the fair of heart you have to have mottzy to be able to look into this book and discover this foundational principle that Satan Seeks to strip away from you on a day by day, moment by moment, minute by minute basses. Because if your grasp the heart of this book you will become so dangerously in love it will change the world.

speechlessness, awe-inspiring, provocative

Who was your favorite character and why?

Yahweh. Because He seeks to reach out to us despite who we have become, and seeks to move us by the love he has for us.

Have you listened to any of John Comer’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

I have not, and I did speed it the text up some, but still was moved by his thought process and writing.

While I did not personally agree with some of the political jabs, very thought provoking, heart moving, emotional charged crafting. I think he did a great job of bringing to light the highlights of scripture. I had went through this book with my oldest son who is 14. After the SP shooting in Texas I asked him one day how he was coping with what happen. "dad I know that was not God's will that those things happen, that was someone else will. I understand now that God's will is not always done on earth. I am sad that it happen, but I am not afraid of people or mad at God. It is sad though that His will is not carried out." wow did I just here that from my 14 year old son? yes.. yes I did. I also appreciate his approach to the unseen spiritual world that is against us. JMC took to a respectful level of consideration. didn't go crazy with it, but brought in a great realistic approach to what is out there. I think we often fairy tale those forces and don't give them the credit that is due. I do know others may go to far. I think he addressed it appositely and brought to a place for all to consider contextually. I am grateful for him allowing God to work though him to write this book over all Very moving work. Every High School student should have to read this at some point to gain a better persecutive of life.

In an ever changing world, this is a great beginning to a logical process of understanding what Islam and Christianity teaches. Where they differ, why they differ, and why they believe it is so important.
It gives you a great insight and understanding to the culture of an incredible people. This book respectfully teaches you why these two life changing cultures believe what they believe, how it is ingrained to who they are.
These pages encapsulate a great wealth of knowledge. How you use it determines if it becomes wisdom or not.

Would you listen to Natural Born Heroes again? Why?

i Have a felling this will be one of my favorite books that i will listen to over and over again. It establish a connection of a world that happen before i was born, it helps me to connect with the idea of honor, training, discipleship, and endurance.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Natural Born Heroes?

There are far to many to list.. It;s like coming across a desert and you are desperate for water & food and the first place you set into after coming across that desert is a banquet hall filled with food and drink. I am likely to founder.. ha ha

Which scene was your favorite?

"Ordinary citizens should be ready for extraordinary actions"

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Most defiantly.. I have become accustom to listing to book and while i love accents of readers ect... i have gotten now where i list to a book at 1.5 to 2x the normal read speed. just to inhale it all is fascinating.

Any additional comments?

This book help me to connect with that era mindset, and how it impacted my generation. It brought to an understanding of the people of that geography, but also insight to the people of that time and where their resilience came from. I have 4 boys and it has stirred in me a profound aspect that maybe i have been missing in raising them.. An element if you will in which i realize that i had myself, but i have denied them. I will be trying to understand a way in which i can implement that element into their lives now.
What a incredible window into History that almost was forgotten. I am sure to send this as a gift to several of my friends who are in the throes of life and parenthood themselves. It will be another book we share that will forever impact our lives, not as much as the Bible, but i do believe there are glimpse of God's truth crossing through the veins of this book that are inspiring. Thanks to the Author and the reader who took time to bring this together to make it what it is.. God used you to write and incredible book with an amazing story. Thank you.
