Absolutely loved the story. Can't wait to read the rest of the series. I wish the other audiobooks were ready so I could listen to them now!

started slow but got good

I wasn't expecting it to start from the pov of a 12yo. That kinda set me in the wrong direction because I wasn't looking for a kid book. But, it did eventually pick up and get to the more serious topics like depression and love and pain. I enjoyed it and the performer did a great job.I laughed and cried. ;-)

Easy to follow story with some hot shifters

I've now read or listened to many of Noah Harris' books and truly enjoy them all. No Regrets is a fun story about a sweet and naive omega venturing away from his family to learn what it's like to be in a pack. He finds what he's looking for not within his own pack or even species, but with an alpha from another pack. I don't know if there is a sequel yet but I'd love to find out what happens when the two opposing packs finally come together...or whatever it is that happens with them.

Definitely not your average shifter story

I enjoyed the story and sometimes silly nature of the coupling. I was a little surprised by the 'monster love' aspect and might have enjoyed more human encounters with the prince, but overall it was an enjoyable story with a great narrator.

Smart story with sexy cops. What could be better?

I've now read/listened to several books by Jordan Castillo Price and I've really enjoyed them all. Among the Living is no exception. This "psy-fi" thriller has a fast pace and really kept me wanting to listen 'just a few more minutes.' I'm looking forward to the next installment in this series.

Sexy and funny. Definitely recommended

I love a book that I can connect with and that makes me laugh. This hit both marks. The vampire aspect of the story was smart and well thought out. And there were great sexy times that I loved. Not too many that they seemed tedious...but the perfect amount. Then came the humor. Wild Bill's sarcastic wit was awesome. I genuinely laughed out loud on several occasions. Anyone who enjoyed "Real Vampires Don't Sparkle" will enjoy this book...but there is actual sex so it's way better. ;-)

a little bit of a slow start...

this book is well written and well performed, but it did have a slow start. I found my mind drifting often so I had to rewind to get get back on track and that usually doesn't happen with me. But, overall, a good story.

Who was your favorite character and why?

Obviously I love Reed. He's hot and sexy and thoughtful....although a little TOO over protective.

What about Natalie Duke’s performance did you like?

She did a great job with the voices. Unfortunately, there were a few editing blips. At least 3 sentences were repeated when one of the two should have been cut out in editing. Example: any guy who willingly let Tucker...

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

I enjoyed the book but might not read more in the series because Caroline was sooooo money obsessed. It's one thing to be poor but to be so rude about it as an adult is just not a person I can "like" very much.
