Historia
As a botanist and professor of plant ecology, Robin Wall Kimmerer has spent a career learning how to ask questions of nature using the tools of science. As a Potawatomi woman, she learned from elders, family, and history that the Potawatomi, as well as a majority of other cultures indigenous to this land, consider plants and animals to be our oldest teachers.

The allegiance of gratitude was my favorite part. A wonderful idea to promote in education, government, and any community/world gathering.
The drawback of the book, in my opinion, is its length. Some of it seems redundant, and combining/summarizing the messages would be positive.

Hope for the Earth

I love the positive, encouraging message of this book. The focus on humble people, promoting respect and self sufficiency is empowering. Understanding the value of collaboration - farmers teaching farmers is insightful. I also sincerely appreciate the credit given to Christ in guiding Tony and others to make this happen. Clearly, the fact that this program works without great expense should appeal to the world community. This story gives hope that poverty, hunger, and all the deprivation that goes with them can be overcome. Our beautiful Earth and its people have hope.
