Bad audio, very hard to follow

The story might be great. But it was just so hard to understand what they refer to as Catriona Keyes's singsong voice. Sometimes I really couldn't make out the words at all.
I had to change the volume all the time, as the loudness of the recording was constantly changing.
It's a shame - I just couldn't listen to the story to the end, as it was to annoying having to adjust the volume constantly.

This review refers to the entire Phase 1 (Lessons 1-30).
I will begin my review with some comments on the promises regarding your supposed language skills after 30 sessions of 30 minutes and then move on to underlining the good points.
The publisher promises you that you will have intermediate Hebrew after 30 sessions of 30 minutes each. It is pretty obvious that that's not possible. (If it were, everybody would speak 15 languages on an intermediate level.)
Quite different to what they tell you, you most certainly DO NOT get to a level I would call immediate and you won't be able to have any "specific" conversations. Your learn about 6 - 7 verbs in the present - maybe 10, I didn't count, but: not many.
Opposed to what the publishers tell you, you will not be able to "comfortably" talk about past events unless you consider knowing three (or four?) verbs in the past in 3 persons comfortable.
HOWEVER: You will get a good feeling for the language. You will be very good at counting and at telling the time, you will really hear the language all the time. The course is very well structured and gives you some of the truly essential words, not just nouns and verbs, but also prepositions and time words and other words you really need (now, later, too much, far, important, good, bad, then, why, when, since when, for how long etc.)
I have been using this along with other, printed matter, and I find this is very pleasant to use. It's really easy - you can do it while you clean the house - , it's short (30 minute lessons), it helps you remember words and phrases and it's probably helpful in giving you decent pronunciation.
Very useful, especially for Hebrew I find (because of the difficulties you have when you only know little Hebrew and you are reading unknown words). Absolutely recommend it and will buy the second phase.
