The scenarios are ludicrous ad characters are even worse. In one, author gives a malnourished 20 year old boy (Johnny Good Boy (yes seriously)) the strength to choke out a 500 lb wild pig, right after he kills another one by slicing it's throat. (that's not how you kill a pig with a knife btw). The characters are cheesy. as hell. He gives these ultra high tech aliens the silliest and most unlikely human-like personalities. Impossible to take it seriously.

Bullshit novel for people that haven’t been in the military. Maybe he forgot what happened and decided to make shot up, but there were so many inconsistencies obvious exaggerations, and things that were just wrong about how weapons work. Could not get past chapter 8.

I think his addiction problems are secondary to his self-centeredness. I read about 50 books a year, but couldn’t get past the second chapter of this one.

“He” constantly calls CIA officers “agents”, calls 5.45 mm bullets “large caliber” and call scuba air tanks “oxygen tanks”. No one with even a tiny amount of knowledge of these subjects would make such amateur mistakes. Laughable. Too bad because the reader is decent

Hilarious! convicts "scientists" of dishonesty

wow, this is a fun read, but shocking in its admission of the dubious nature and totally unscientific approaches of so many "scientists". Written by a true-believer in the religion of Darwinism/evolution theory/humanism, etc, it chronicles a naked confession that all the theories of who we are and how we got here are almost completely unscientific, in the true sense of the word. The State approved archeologist, astronomers, paleontologists, and even biologists who developed the new religion of the State, Evolutionism, were so nakedly biased, and incapable or unwilling to approach their fields without foregone conclusions, the whole community shoukd be ashamed! Only physicists even attempt to be honest, but they are so unsure of anything, that they really cannot agree on much. It would be funny if it were not so tragic. There is so much evidence they ignore, they cannot be taken seriously. they approach everything already "knowing" the conclusion. Check out Brien Forester or Kent Hovind if you enjoy honest researchers and thinkers who actually use the scientific method.

while Kokesh makes some excellent points, he also makes some logical errors, in my opinion. hes a brilliant guy, and has obviously read some of the greatest authors on freedom and liberty, but many of these ideas rely much too heavily on the supposed good nature of mankind. much like the United States Constitution, of which Jefferson said "for an and immoral and non- religious society, this constitution is wholly inadequate", so is the non-aggression princile wholly inadequate for maintaining glibal peace and stability. while a wonderful theory, I believe that total freedom would result in total rule by tyrants. just look at Mexico and Afghanistan for excellent examples of this. one man's opinion

The corruption and politicization of main stream "science" is partially exposed in this short summary of the book by the same title. We have been systematically decieved by those with personal and monetary agendas.

Sophomoric philosophy delivered with arrogance

The author was an engineering major who just recently discovered history, philosophy and sociology, and now he thinks he's a genius. You see this with so many engineering types who stared off into space in the few humanities courses they were forced to take. Also, he's apparently just discovered basic American optimism. I wouldn't be so critical of his juvenile epiphanies if he weren't so arrogant. He refers to himself "I, me, my" etc, hundreds of times per chapter, and thinks very highly of himself. He would do well to revisit Sophocles and Euripides and Aeschylus.
