I LOVED This Story!!!

Amy Daws is a wonderful romance writer. There are several other wonderful romance writers out there, but she manages to incorporate everything that I personally consider Hot, Loving, and supportive into the best possible scenario and sprinkle the whole thing with a healthy dose of humor. This latest offering did not disappoint me on any level. I loved all the characters but especially Wyatt. He’s my concept of the perfect man! Thank you Amy!

This is the worst book I’ve ever listened to.

The only reason I kept listening to it is because I love Teddy Hamilton and because of some morbid wish to see how bad it could actually get. It got there. I see that many people left good reviews and that’s a good thing for the narrators and the author. We all have different tastes and preferences. Obviously, this book wasn’t for me. I didn’t like the female main character. She was overly and erratically emotional. The male lead kept saying wonderful things about her but I never heard any evidence or reason for his praise. Again, just my opinion.

This was so Contrived and Corny. Over-the-Top Dramatic!

The Narrator’s voice was infused with too much emotion but she was probably just doing a spot-on interpretation of the author’s intentions. The last half of the story was so soap opera stereotypical that it made me cringe.

A Nice, Relaxing Christmas Story

This was pretty corny, but because I have no tolerance for stress and conflict anymore, I appreciated the ease of it.

I Couldn’t Deal with This

I love Debbie Macomber, at least the current version. Evidently, I don’t love her when she wrote this series. I don’t want to expose the plot, so I’ll just leave it at that.

Excellent Narration, Weak Redundant Story

I feel like this author applies the same formula to every story she writes. It felt very repetitive and unoriginal. The narrators are great, but at times, even they seemed overly orchestrated and unspontaneous. I did not enjoy this story and don’t recommend it.
