Historia
The last thing Ruby McGavin thought she would be doing after her husband, Cole, died was meeting his family. He had claimed his relatives were all dead, and she didn't know him long enough - they were only married one year - to think otherwise. But it turns out that members of Cole's family, from a small ranch town in California, are very much alive, and they show up on Ruby's doorstep with the news that she has inherited some land from her husband.

Techie realities
Revisado: 02-26-17
Loved the mixing of old and new standards and technologies here. The very Victorian style mom and the very savvy techie daughter make an interesting statement of the changing world facets of communities that make up our world. The down home lawman & his creative family add just enough spice to make this reader want to live in their town. As to the Russian mob threat, there'd have been no story without it.

Historia
Thirty-five years old, fresh off the bus from New York City, and nursing a shattered heart, Anna Pigeon takes a decidedly unglamorous job as a seasonal employee of the Glen Canyon National Recreational Area. On her day off, she goes hiking into the park never to return. Her co-workers think she’s simply moved on - her cabin is cleaned out and her things gone. Anna herself wakes up, trapped at the bottom of a dry natural well, naked, without supplies and no clear memory of how she got into this situation. As she slowly pieces together her memory, it soon becomes clear that someone has trapped her there....

This story had me at the beach setting and kept me with its delightful main characters.
The reader excellently portrayed local accents, moods and humor. He made me feel like I was there.
I'll recommend this title to all of my reading friends. (With a warning about bedroom nuances )

Interesting story line.
Revisado: 08-04-15
The travels and characters in this adventure are delightful. The entire romp seems wildly plausible.
The reader was good with accents and diction. Expressions, emotions and moods were hard to distinguish due to bland modulation and / or volume of voice. Hushed Statements between characters were the same as ones which are implied to be shouted.
Mrs P. Remains a good read whether by hard back or audio.

Refreshing
Revisado: 08-03-15
A journey into good intentions twisted into events gone bad. Just a tad of personal social life on top of government agencies and social experiments, makes this a comfortable read. No great tension or smut. Very refreshing.
