Pardon my language; I guess I've been hanging with the brothers for too long. There was so much going on in this latest installment; with new characters, and the ongoing stories of the old characters in the Series; that sometimes I found myself reading into the middle of the night. I had lost track of time. Absorbed! ... wondering what the hell was going to happen next. I loved the way J.R. opens the souls of the characters; giving them substance...the author totally got me involved with her characters and their heartstopping dilemmas. I personally think that the absence of love is the root of all evil and maliase in the world...So, the power of love to transform a life and bring a new reality to one who is suffering, which seemed to be the theme of this book, totally sucked me in. Plus there was just enough humor to have me laughing out loud, as well. Loved it, Loved it, Loved it. I read the series at random; as the characters became of interest to me. I do recommend that you read the other 9 books first before reading No. 10; but you don't need to; reading it,however, might send you back to read the other books in the series.

ZACARIAS is scary and hot... I love this Dark book

I loved the story line, loved Marguarita and of course she had to be a little crazy and brave to deal with Zacarias; he being nearly mad, was so off the hook; but I fell for him and at the sametime I was afraid that he would drive Marguarita away or kill her by accident. I had a feeling that Marguarita was his life mate, when he saved her life in book telling Solange's story. I was very entertained by this story and the love making was enthalling...I found myself holding my breath and my body. As in the Solange's story I loved the male and female narrators. I don't know if this the last book in the series, I hope not... I love this dark series and I want see if the Carpathians will defeat all of their enemies and I what to know what happens to the Jaguar women and the Jaguar male Luis...

This is the 2nd Carthpathian novel I read...

The male and female voice narrations gave depth and life to the love story. I fell madly in love with Dominic right along with Solange. The poetry at the beginning of each chapter, just wonderful; the poetry enhanced the love story and made it much more moving. There was lots of passion, but the tenderness of love story is what I can't forget. Together the two heros where invincible. I couldn't put this book down. I devoured the novel in 2 days; and then played it again. There are a lot of Carpathian books, but I recommend this one as a must read. I been looking through the series for my next thriller!, This book is the second Dark Series Novel that I've read; I read the Author,s Edition of the Dark Prince, Book 1. Both stories were page turning, but I must say that I enjoyed this book more, because the heroine was a fiece, strong, and a couragous warrior, as well as sweetly feminine and vunerable to her man. The lovers were hot, hot, hot...this is one of the best erotic fantasies I have every read.

I hadn't read a romance novel in a long time. and I was not disappointed. I love dragons,so I picked this book to read at random. It was funny, it was hot, the dragon rocked my world. I could not put it down; it was definitely a page turner. This book will stay in my library, so that I can go back and visit the characters from time to time.
