Awesome- but literally broke the word ‘literally’

Great story, fantastic narration. Really fun piece of RPGlit. But I think the author used up his lifetime supply of the word‘literally’. I know peeps use the word liberally (and incorrectly IMO) as an intensifier these days. But good grief it got grating. Started to wince when it came up. Probably says more about me than him, but a better editor or style guide needed. Regardless, loved the whole series!

Needs more lot elements

It's as if she ran out of plot elements in the first few books. How many times do we have to suffer through the main characters thinking the other doesn't love them? Good stories, but please show some restraint on the copy/paste method of writing.

Sci-fi needs more manatees

Fun, often clever, great in jokes. Anything that makes this much reference to Firefly is worth a read. But I think he's on to something with the noble manatees. That's a trope in the making. (I'd think give some more thought before developing the rabid raccoon sub-plot further though. That and the scrotum harvesting.)

Was Resolute worth the listening time?
Yes - a fun listen. Some interesting twists that I hope signal better direction for the series.
Any additional comments?
The character of Hank got some interesting development in the earlier books. The author took a strange direction with him in this one. He suddenly turned into a one-dimensional twit. I found it annoying throughout this book - it made the main plot seem almost pointless. The plot going on in the background was intriguing though.

What could have made this a 4 or 5-star listening experience for you?
I didn't pay attention to the running length. Seemed like the start of a good story - then couldn't believe it when it just ended.
Not worth a credit. Should have just been a portion of an anthology.
