Tara’s story is pure inspiration. Hearing the story told in her own voice, makes it all the more powerful and penetrating. Tara’s journey with cancer from diagnosis through her sometimes raging white-water physical and emotional journey leaves the listener with a visceral, close-up taste of her wild healing travels. Perhaps most impactful for me is the widsom that continually flows from Tara in this audiobook- the wisdom that comes with facing her mortality by letting go again and again and again. Tara has faced death as a true warrioress and in doing so, has found the utter preciousness of living life with all of its constant changes, beauty, uncertainty and relentless love that comes with bravely facing the grit, being carried by grace and finally dropping into one of life’s most precious gifts-- gratitude.
