Historia
Learning how easy improv is can be the hard part. There are important lessons in life that can lead to better improv scenes. And there are important lessons in improv that can lead to a better life. By putting improv techniques under an electron microscope of reason, The Tao of Improv: A Philosophy of Creating a Scene can improve the way we function, understand, and interact - on stage and off. Excerpts from the Tao Te Ching are woven into an overall philosophy of scenic improv acting.

starts off for talking about what it's not going to tell you about improv when it should just go through a quick even if it was just a quick overview.
I gave you five stars because I'm a nice guy but I would like to feed the guy's hand to a wolverine. i hate when books start with " this book isn't this.."

Historia
In Unmasking Autism, Dr. Devon Price shares their personal experience with masking and blends history, social science research, prescriptions, and personal profiles to tell a story of neurodivergence that has thus far been dominated by those on the outside looking in. For Dr. Price and many others, Autism is a deep source of uniqueness and beauty. Unfortunately, living in a neurotypical world means it can also be a source of incredible alienation and pain.

An eighth son of an eighth son is born, a wizard squared, a source of magic. A sourcerer. Unseen University, the Discworld's most magical establishment, has finally got its wish: the emergence of a wizard more powerful than ever before. sounds terrible.
Revisado: 10-05-22
the characters are hard to understand. the voices are fine but the editing and mixing stinks. tone???
listen to chapter 60.
terrible.
These new versions all have sound issues.
terrible
I don't mind a cast book instead of a single narrator.
the abridged Unseen Academicals
from a few years ago was done excellently ....
it's only minor sounds issues but listening in one head phone like I do with all books and podcasts for twenty five years (i listen at work)
is impossible.
this is only a review of the sound quality and tone .
the voice actors are great
Terry Pratchett rules
but these new versions stink?!??!? I am not happy at all with them.
but overall I have no idea what happened in this book. soft parts too soft loud too loud

Historia
Football has come to the ancient city of Ankh-Morpork - not the old fashioned, grubby pushing and shoving but the new, fast football with pointy hats for goalposts and balls that go gloing when you drop them. And now, the wizards of Unseen University must win a football match, without using magic, so they're in the mood for trying everything else. The prospect of the Big Match draws in a street urchin with a wonderful talent for kicking a tin can, a maker of jolly good pies, a dim but beautiful young woman who might just turn out to be the greatest fashion model there has ever been, and the mysterious Mr Nutt.

if there's one question from this book ?
Revisado: 09-23-22
it sounds like it's going to have one question that's going to help then it spends more time on an introduction then when he gets to anything that could be useful he starts going too quick without even using a comma or breath so you can't think about what he's saying cuz he's already on to the next thing it's one of the worst audio books I've ever heard.
just terrible like seriously I'm not going to return it cuz I only spent a couple bucks during a sale but if they're trying to tell me there's one main question and then babble babble babble babble babble without breathing yeah I hate this book I'm hate listening to it now and I will never buy anything involved with anybody in this again have a nice life

Historia
Somewhere on the frontier between thought and reality exists the Discworld, a parallel time and place that might sound and smell very much like our own, but which looks completely different. Particularly as it’s carried though space on the back of a giant turtle (sex unknown). It plays by different rules. But then, some things are the same everywhere. The Disc’s very existence is about to be threatened by a strange new blight: the world’s first tourist, upon whose survival rests the peace and prosperity of the land.

can't hear half the voices
Revisado: 07-12-22
this recording is full of ham actors trying ....
and it overall stinks. unlistenable volume changes between characters. terrible.
I have listened to all previous Pratchett books and this really is difficult.
I own hundreds of books so I am not new to this. hopefully I can find an app that compresses the voices to similar volumes

Historia
When Van Tudor returns to his childhood home, he inherits more than the family farm. His grandfather used to tell him fantastic stories of spacemen and monsters, princesses and galactic knights. Little did Van realize, the old man's tales were more than fiction; they were real. Hidden beneath the old barn, Van’s legacy is waiting: a starship, not of this world. With his combat AI, an android bird named Perry, Van takes his first steps into the wider galaxy. He soon finds that space is far busier and more dangerous than he could have ever conceived.
