You will wish you could meet her mother and her brother after reading this… while at the same time you get to walk with Whoopi through her life — childhood to starting off as a comic to becoming a national sensation. She shares the wisdom of her mother and how they were truly partners throughout her life. And now I have a new term: singular people. I like that. Thank you, Whoopi.

I was hooked right away as Julia shared her dramatic life story with such extreme ups and downs. She reads/performs it well and kept me captivated. This is not boring in the least. Highly recommend!!

A vulnerable sincere suspenseful story beautifully wrapped in gender nonconforming

A story about human connection and disconnection and loneliness and being lost and being found. One of the best stories I’ve read about gender nonconforming specific to women who don’t fit perfectly on either side of the coin. This might help you understand yourself but at the very least it will give you a better understanding of the humans sharing planet around you.

I had to keep stopping to make bookmarks and note areas that I want to go back and listen to again. nostalgic for those of us around the same age, it was fun to relive the 80s and 90s through Will Smith’s experience. but I had no idea that his life’s spiraling and expanding would be so much like many of us regular people. A lot of synchronicity. So much wisdom and spiritual growth shared. Authentic and vulnerable. And yes, I cried more than a few times. The ending left me in tears. I always liked Will Smith but wow, what a great story. much respect sir! Thank you for sharing your multidimensional journey.
