Historia
An Epidemic of Absence asks what will happen in developing countries, which, as they become more affluent, have already seen an uptick in allergic disease: Will India end up more allergic than Europe? Velasquez-Manoff also details a controversial underground movement that has coalesced around the treatment of immune-mediated disorders with parasites. Against much of his better judgment, he joins these do-it-yourselfers and reports his surprising results.

Very interesting and useful information!
Revisado: 08-18-23
This book should be read by everyone, so we have a healthier start for all of our communities! But definitely read by people with autoimmune disorders in their family who will be having kids.
There are a few chapters where the audiobook reader is reading in an annoying way (as if every sentence is a question), but he eventually stops doing that. So, bear with it if you’re feeling annoyed like I was!

This book can benefit anyone!
Revisado: 05-06-19
I know so many people who will benefit from this book! I’m telling my family and my patients about it! You don’t need to know your genetic makeup to find out which genes are “dirty”. This book will walk you through it. It’s very thorough.
