Normally I am not a fan of an author narrating his own work, but Barry Eisler does a fantastic job! It was well written and brilliantly narrated. it did not disappoint as an edge of your seat book two in the series. New villains and fantastic heroes add to the story. Bravo! I could not stop listening.

the story was reasonably intriguing, however the writing got in the way too often. Switching from first person to third person chapters was clunky as well as present tense mixing up with past tense. It really distracted from the story. This was my first book with this author and I won't look for another one. The narrator did a good job with some of the challenging aspects of the book. A pleasant voice and kept things moving at a good pace.

The story of a post apocalyptic world set in the Pacific Northwest kept my attention enough to keep listening to the end. The author put enough twists to keep it unpredictable while endearing the listener to the main characters. Though the narrator at times was a bit monotone, he got the job done with a reasonable performance that did not distract from the story.

Well written essays that made me feel like the stories my granddad would tell. I'm a sailor, not a pilot, but this book sure made me think about what flying would be like.

Both author and narrator really deliver in this spy/thriller. I loved the mystery, the character building, and the delivery.

James Mace does a fabulous job giving us a slice of the history of the Roman Empire. The characters bring to life and put a face on the conquest of Britain without demonizing either side.
Jonathan Waters is simply amazing in his narration! I’m usually not a fan of a British accent, but Waters does an excellent job of enhancing the story with appropriate character voices without distracting from the story. Bravo!

The theme was unique and the scenes believable. Fairly well written for a short erotic story. The narrator's voice is lovely oh, but her delivery was a little choppy at times.

I received a free copy of this drivel in exchange for a review. The only reason I made it to the end was because it was short. The writing was sophomoric with no character development and a rediculously thin plot. The narrator had horrible timing and butchered the dialog. Don't waste your time or your money.

Sorry but I found the writing sophomoric and dry. The narration could not pull it out and I had to quit at chapter 6.

As a student of the Bible with a Bachelor of Divinity degree, a published author, and an audiobook narrator I feel that I am in a unique position to comment on this audiobook. The story is well written, combining biblical truths with religious myths and creating a modern-day archaeological thriller. The narration delivered in a splendid fashion that complemented the story. The only reason I did not give the performance five stars was the abysmal editing. If Alex Hyde-White was using punch and roll editing techniques as implied by the name of his narration company, I beg him to go back and re-edit this book. There were so many duplications it was embarrassing! I thought that punch and roll was supposed to eliminate those. Sadly, there was even a snap correction left at one point. Very distracting and unprofessional. For this reason alone I cannot recommend this audiobook to anyone until I have evidence that it has been re-edited.
