Historia
Following the death of his 10-year-old son, physician Peter Croft embarks on a desperate, seemingly random search for a missing child, risking his sanity, even his life in a grief-induced quest. Killer Beginning!
Revisado: 04-13-16
The first couple of chapters were heartbreaking. And I really liked the paranormal aspects. I spent most of the last part of the story waiting for it to show up again. It kind of felt like the paranormal figure was a jerk for not making an effort when it would have mattered. That confused me.

Well read mystery
Revisado: 03-22-16
I really enjoyed the narrator's voice and will definitely look for more books read by him. The story was a solid mystery but I would like to have witnessed more of the characters' interactions in high school. They had a complicated relationship that didn't get a chance to really play out in this story.

Historia
Tesser, the dragon of life itself, is one of seven: Earth’s primordial draconic guardians, destined to oversee its development and safety. Species rose and fell, and 10,000 years ago...Tesser disappeared. The golden dragon woke up this morning, buried deep beneath the city of Boston, with no idea how he got there, and no idea how humanity grew so fast and learned so much while he was away. He is lost, a fish out of water. Where is the magic? He’s got a lot of catching up to do if he’s going to find his missing sister and stop an incursion of daemons from beyond the Veil.

I dont think the author has ever actually communicated with another human being.

Massively Fun Story Read by a Compelling Voice
Revisado: 03-10-16
I loved this audiobook, actually laughing out loud several times. James Foster killed me with the onomonopoetic words. Clear voices. Great storytelling from author and narrator. Sure, there's an annoying amount of homophobic language in the beginning but the story is set in Boston and Tesser provides an appropriate response. But Philbrook has changed the world in this book and I am looking forward to seeing what he does with this new world!

Historia
The world is still reeling from the devastation of the Omega Virus and struggling to rebuild. A growing android workforce has given rise to the Human Defense League and anti-AI sentiment is at an all-time high. Adam, the first of the new X-3000 models, arrives into this hostile world. Field-tested on the Luna colonies, now assigned to Earth, Adam is paired with homicide detective Jane Malveaux, who has little patience for synthetics.

Nice story telling
Revisado: 02-04-16
The story and the characters were interesting and I was hoping for a little more development in the relationship between the main characters. I wanted more, really. I thought the narrator's choice to use a robotic voice was a bit misplaced as the story was so much about the humanization of AI tech and I was thrown by the many mispronunciations. I will probably read Mr. Massa's other stories on my kindle.
