Historia
Cujo is a 200-pound Saint Bernard, the best friend Brett Camber has ever had. One day Cujo chases a rabbit into a cave inhabited by sick bats. What happens to Cujo, how he becomes a horrifying vortex inescapably drawing in all the people around him, makes for one of the most heart-stopping novels Stephen King has ever written.

Historia
For Lieutenant Eve Dallas of the NYPSD, the job is a useful reminder of what she has to be grateful for this season. Hosting Roarke's big Irish family for the holiday may be challenging, but it’s a joyful improvement on her own dark childhood. Other couples aren’t as lucky as Eve and Roarke. The Reinholds, for example, are lying on the floor of their Downing Street apartment, stabbed and bludgeoned almost beyond recognition. Those who knew them are stunned - and even more heartbroken by the overwhelming evidence that they were murdered by their own son.

Good, but violence is less enjoyable.

Good, but after a break, the violence is less enjoyable. The familial scenarios and awards ceremony well done, as was the grief .

Two best-selling Agatha Christie novels in one great audiobook. The Secret Adversary: From the brilliant pen of Agatha Christie comes the first novel in her Tommy and Tuppence mystery series featuring the beloved sleuthing duo. Ten people, each with something to hide and something to fear, are invited to a isolated mansion on Indian Island by a host, who, surprisingly, fails to appear.

not one his best
Revisado: 05-22-24
character development was typically thorough, although I found it hard to empathise with Gard's character initially.
I'm glad I read it, it wasn't awful, and it was written during a very difficult time in his life, as he has admitted.
Overall, it's ok

Historia
This Psych 312 assignment just might send me off the deep end. Determining whether love at first sight really exists with Robbie Moravian as my project partner of all people? He’s the sappiest man alive, so upbeat I could scream, and clearly rooting for happy endings at every turn. How does he not learn from experience considering our own meet-cute last semester almost got us expelled? But we both need to pass this course to graduate. So we’re interviewing five random couples about their meet-cutes and relationships and spending all this time together. Which is certainly...educational.

The Stand revisited?
Revisado: 11-12-23
The narrator was OKish once I got used his almost monotonal delivery. story was too. Mr.King was evidentally bored one afternoon. He usually does so much better But it just felt too much like The Stand for the modern age. I was dubious about listening to this, and should have listened to my initial qualms. There was nothing wrong with it, just not much right either. And the loss of one of the main characters was both it's high point and its lowest.

Now mated to darkly dangerous but irresistibly seductive werewolf, Mark Abernathy, she's finding that life isn't the endless cheese and whisky fueled boinkfest she'd imagined it to be. Plagued by terrifying nightmares of a mysterious entity bent on her destruction and drowning in her new responsibilities as the alpha female of the werewolf world, she's begun to doubt that she really is the heir.

Enraptured
Revisado: 10-24-23
I have thoroughly enjoyed this series throughout all four books. At times, it is comical, frustrating, and endearing. Narrated expertly with such a mastery of accents and dialects, what's not to enjoy.
