A wild tale. A true fiction but very amusing and funny . The narrator was horrible. Wonderful in the female. Horrible as a male. Good heavens. I have a real issue with there is no distinction between a male and female, even secondary male characters was undistinguishable. The book was amusing for me. I suffered thru the narration because of the humor

I love the story line of very different personalities getting to know each other after making an initial judgement at their first encounter. I loved the evolution of how someone can present a different outlook on choice and our ability to change for the better and for love, however the added end was a little too out there with Bakos. Otherwise a great romance

I am on the fence with this one . This story has all the elements to make a really good story. however it seemed long and drawn out. I am having a hard time connecting to the characters. Lots of sex, but it took a while for then to actually have sex then it moved from sex to heavy dominant sex which appeared rushed. The plot was sound. Mother rips off some real bad people who want their stuff back at any cost. Twin daughters , one trying to find the mother, while the other twin is forced into protection by a gang / club of bikers. Add a survivalist father, a hit woman stepmother and some unusual characters, compound living, cult members and lots of paranoia . All the while the bad guys are huntings the twins in hopes of using them as collateral or repayment. Maybe there was too much going on. Imam going to try book 2. Based on the reviews.

It was hard to tell who was speaking . The narration was not bad she just used the same tone for the male and female roles. The H seemed too out there and not an alpha male .

There is a part 3, but what I loved most of all about the authors, is the books do not end with cliff hangers. it concludes yet still keep wanting the next book in the series.

I loved the ending. I am enjoying how the characters are evolving. Looking forward to book 3

Is there anything you would change about this book?

The book is quick short erotic stories. If just want to pass the time reading erotica without a lot of character development . Enjoy.. looking for deep connecting stories. This is not for you. I enjoyed it for what is was and what I felt like hearing.

New twist on a highlander tale

Would you listen to To Wed a Highlander again? Why?

No sure, maybe. not because I did not enjoy it. There are just more books in the seriers and I rarely re- read books.

What did you like best about this story?

I like how it explored the hero being a widower and the emotions behind it.
