What can I say… over the course of the series we see the characters grow and evolve and we’ve reached a point where they feel like real people and we’ve come to know them and love them. Can’t wait to start on the next one!

Historia
The Aftermath of a stunning victory—especially an unexpected, complete, and final victory—should be high-fives all around, listening to politicians give boring congratulatory speeches, and a well-deserved rest for the Merry Band of Pirates. Yes, the galaxy is still a freakin' mess, but that is nothing new, and for a change, that can be someone else's problem. Until, you know, something really bad happens, and only the Pirates can deal with the problem... Or not.

Another fun adventure with Skippy and Joe! I’m so glad Craig decided to continue the series! By this point some of the series’s tropes are starting to feel overused, but Craig is able to keep the story fresh and interesting. Loved it.

Revisado: 11-09-23
This audio series is so far very good! Christopher Hopper is known for his sci-fi books, but he is doing a fantastic job with this magical adventure where a kid on his way to college unexpectedly finds himself in a weird fantasy world populated by strange creatures, one of which is a talking rabbit who helps him along the way. It’s fun, mysterious and magical!

Christopher Hopper is a very talented narrator, his performance in this installment of the Imperium Descent series showcases his skills as a voice actor, able to make a lot of interesting, unique voices for each character. In terms of his writing, the story is captivating, the plot is interesting and the combination of every ingredient made listening to this a pure pleasure. Historia
My name is Kazimir Wolfe. People call me "Kaz", except they don’t. I never use my real name; it’s too dangerous, for me and for anyone I meet. I’m on the run from the law, who think I killed my aunt, and from whoever did kill her, because they want to finish the job. So, I move around a lot, working construction or whatever job I can find. It’s a lonely life. I don’t let anyone get close...people who get close to me end up dead. Why? I’m a wizard. The world’s only wizard, as far as I know.

Awesome!
Revisado: 08-31-22
Fans of Craig Alanson’s Expeditionary Force will love this.
It has a similar first-person writing style. The protagonist is young and inexperienced. There are snarky sidekicks with advanced abilities, though instead of a talking beer can, they are a talking dog possessed by a Babylonian god and a genie.
Just like in ExForce there’s sneaking around involved, which would make the MBOP and the ECO proud.
I loved it!

Another great episode of this addictive series!
Revisado: 07-10-22
If you are considering buying this, you are probably already familiar with the series. This is another great installment of it.
That said, there are two things about it that I thought could have been handled differently…
SPOILERS BELOW:
For one, the main antagonist in this one was a bit of a paper monster. Too easy for Skippy, in my opinion.
Second, there was a plot twist at the end where it is revealed that Joe knew things he didn’t tell us, and that we’ve been led to believe things that were meant as a deception for the enemy, but since Joe is the one telling most of the story, it feels as if it’s the audience who is being deceived by Joe. Sort of like “Hey just kidding, that whole sub plot didn’t happen like that, and neither did that big dramatic event that I’ve spent the last hour telling you about.” That seemed awkward.
Despite that, it was a good story, and there’s an exciting revelation at the very end!
