Very informative
Revisado: 04-01-25
This was the right book for me! I had a slight knowledge of the Constitution but the writer gave good insight into how the amendments came to be and case examples for how they have been tested over the years, which gave me a clearer understanding of our founding document. I found this book very interesting!

Historia
The most important and influential source of information about the Pilgrims and Plymouth Colony, this landmark account was written between 1630 and 1647. It vividly documents the Pilgrims' adventures: their first stop in Holland, the harrowing transatlantic crossing aboard the Mayflower, the first harsh winter in the new colony, and the help from friendly Native Americans that saved their lives. No one was better equipped to report on the Plymouth community than William Bradford. Revered for his patience, wisdom, and courage, Bradford was elected to the office of governor.

First-hand account
Revisado: 03-20-25
Very good narrator, good to listen to first hand account of how the pilgrims got together and their story for several years after arriving in the New World. My 10th GGParents were John Howland and Elizabeth Tilley. Very exciting to hear John’s name mentioned near the last part of the book!
I would recommend this to anyone who is interested in America’s early history.

Historia
Would you suffer persecution, poverty, and prison for Christ? Would you endure cruel tortures that take your mind and body to the brink of death and beyond? Would you watch your children suffering for their faith and urge them to remain faithful to Christ? Two thousand years of martyrs. For nearly 2000 years, courageous men and women have been tortured and killed because of their confessions of Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. The New Foxe's Book of Martyrs tells their stories.
