This is a wonderful book. Loved the generational plots and how they all came together at the end. Enjoyed every word!

An Amazing Story
Revisado: 02-03-23
Kate Morton is an extraordinary author. This tale was woven so expertly well and it kept me enthralled to the last word written. Just as Laurel smiled at her “lightbulb” moment at the end, I too smiled at “my moment’ when it all came together for me… when I finally knew just what “the secret” was! Fabulous book!

Very good story line.
Revisado: 04-24-22
I was pleasantly surprised with this book. The characters were so real and the plot kept me on the edge of my seat. As Annie Lee’s desperation mounted, so was my curiosity and I couldn’t guess what drove her until the truth was revealed in the end! I love it when authors can pull that off!
.
Now I wish Dolly & Kelsea would make an album of all the songs from the book! Good job Dolly & James!

Simply the Best!
Revisado: 08-21-21
I can’t get enough of Sarah Sundin’s books. The WWII era is special to me. Every book I have read has helped me to realize what it was like for “the finest generation” to live in such an uncertain & turbulent time. Sarah Sundin did a lot of homework in order to write such a gripping and realistic story. I love the Paxton family!

This book was the best WWII-themed books I’ve ever read or listened to. Love the strong Christian characters. Their faith was so moving.

This was one of the best books I’ve ever listened to. The story was outstanding and the narrator was better than any other. I only wish it was twice as long!
