Historia
Trinity Marrow has lost the battle and her beloved Protector. Even with both demons and Wardens on her side, Trin may not win the war against the Harbinger. Bringing Lucifer back to the world to fight the Harbinger is probably a really, really bad idea, but they’re out of options—and the world’s ultimate fallen angel is the only being powerful enough to impact the outcome. As Trin and Zayne form a new and more dangerous bond and Lucifer unleashes Hell on earth, the apocalypse looms and the world teeters on the end of forever. Win or lose, one thing is certain—nothing will ever be the same.

Revisado: 04-03-25
Lucifer talking about Highlander made my day! The last book makes up for some of the too YA parts of this series. Actually, the entire initial conversation with Lucifer was awesome! And Peanut!’ WTH?? What a twist!!

Historia
Eighteen-year-old Trinity may be going blind, but she can see and communicate with ghosts and spirits. Her gift is the reason she’s been in hiding for years in a compound guarded by Wardens—shape-shifters who protect humankind from demons. If the demons discover the truth about Trinity, they’ll devour her to enhance their powers. When Wardens from another clan arrive with reports that something is killing both demons and Wardens, Trinity’s world implodes. Not the least because one of the outsiders is the most annoying and fascinating person she’s ever met.

Cute!
Revisado: 04-01-25
The story is different and at times funny. It gets a bit boring and very immature in some parts, but not very often. It’s not as good as her other series, but it’s entertaining.

Very good!
Revisado: 03-09-25
First, people need to stop complaining about the amount of sex. It’s a paranormal romance and fantasy. This is not RR Tolkien and old boring sex. It’s also not your story to tell. 🙄 If you don’t like the sex, pick a different genre. Poppy’s inner dialogues makes my head want to explode. However, I love the sex, the story, the friendships and the narrator.

Historia
Chosen from birth to usher in a new era, Poppy’s life has never been her own. The life of the Maiden is solitary. Never to be touched. Never to be looked upon. Never to be spoken to. Never to experience pleasure. Waiting for the day of her Ascension, she would rather be with the guards, fighting back the evil that took her family, than preparing to be found worthy by the gods. But the choice has never been hers. The entire kingdom’s future rests on Poppy’s shoulders, something she’s not even quite sure she wants for herself. Because a Maiden has a heart. And a soul. And longing.

It’s OK…
Revisado: 03-06-25
The story has potential, but the inner monologues the FC has are not just boring but incredibly annoying. It’s the type that contracts itself every second - “ I want to this… but I don’t want to do this”… and so on and so on aaannnd so on. 😒 I actually had to fast forward many times during her inner monologues because it made want to pull my hairs out. I find it amazing that some people actually complained in their reviews that some of her monologues were cut out from the dramatized version. Good grief! What else could the FC have to say? Her banter is also childish and gets old quite fast. The male actors did a great job, 👏 The story is not that compelling to be dragged out like this. So, the book is not bad, but not great either.

Revisado: 02-04-25
I don’t think I would ever be able to unhear Bryce’s voice. I love the story, the performance and all the other voices, specially Hunt’s voice. I’m not sure if one can listen to Bryce’s voice without cringing. Most definitely recommend the series. The author is incredible!

But a secret is like a knot. Sooner or later, it is bound to come undone. When Saeris comes face-to-face with Death himself, she inadvertently reopens a gateway between realms and is transported to a land of ice and snow. The Fae have always been the stuff of myth, of legend, of nightmares… but it turns out they're real.

Revisado: 01-16-25
I have to say this book surprised me! It started slow, but once things picked up they didn’t stop! It laughed, cried, got angry, frustrated, all the feelings! Some of the dialogue was a bit childish, but the story was so good I was able to overlook that part, I can’t wait for what comes next. The narrators were pretty awesome! 👏

Historia
When I was a little girl, I dreamed a handsome knight would come and rescue me from my wretched mother. He'd ride up on his white steed and break the curse I've been fated to carry since the day I was born. Funny how things changed over time, how the fairytale twisted into something far more crooked—and darker—than I ever imagined. In reality, my knight is scarred and broken, living alone in a castle of bones that overlooks the sea. He isn’t searching for me. He never was.

Very very dark..
Revisado: 01-05-25
This book is definitely gothic and dark. Not many moments of happiness. I think calling it a romance is a big leap. The characters do fall in love and there’s plenty of sex, but I wouldn’t label it a romance. I can understand why some reviews felt they were empty towards the end and not satisfied. The book is all dark and tragic, the author could have given a second epilogue to satisfy readers looking for romance and perhaps provide some continuous happiness for Lucian. A bit of balance for such darkness.
Don’t get me wrong, the story was good, though it drags out a bit. This author has an excellent creative dark imagination. The performance superbly done, specially Lucian’s with the male voice. However, if you are looking for a love story with warm and sweet moments, this is not it. It’s a sort of love that develops between two people who did not have much happiness. Lucian’s life is all suffering. He’s cold and detached and so is his love. That’s the best description I can provide.
Please do not read this book without reading the TW. I can’t say it enough - the book has darkness, suffering, tragedy, torture, rape, lies, betrayal, etc.
Truly, the only lightness I felt from the book was during the epilogue, but I wouldn’t call it a satisfying happy ending for those of us looking for a bit of romance in darkness. I liked Nightshade and Infernium better.

Nearly killed while trying to win back his ancestral home, Black Richard MacCullough is left scarred and mangled; but some scars run far deeper than mere skin. No longer the handsome devil or kind man of his youth, now he focuses solely on rebuilding everything that was lost to the brutal Chisolms and traitorous MacRays. Revenge - while not nearly as important as keeping his clan from starving - is the only thing that keeps his bruised heart beating.

Revisado: 12-19-24
It’s a cute and lovely short story. I’m afraid I am a bit biased though, because JJ is one of my favorite authors and Tim Campbell is my favorite narrator. I would recommend this story for anyone who wants a romance without backstabbing, plots and conniving women.
