Historia
If You're In My Office, It's Already Too Late. James Sexton knows this. After dealing with over 1000 clients whose marriages have dissolved over everything from an ill-advised threesome with the nanny to the uneven division of carpool duties, he also knows all of the what- not-to-dos for couples who want to build - and consistently work to preserve - a lasting, fulfilling relationship. Described by former clients as a "courtroom gunslinger" and "the sociopath you want on your side", Sexton tells the unvarnished truth about relationships. These usually derive from dishonest communication.

I didn't know lawyers could be so entertaining!
Revisado: 06-19-24
I got to know James Sexton on the Diary of a CEO Podcast and got curious about his book. Throughout the book, I found myself laughing out loud at some of his experiences. The situations and claims presented weren't what shocked me; it was the naivety with which we face certain matters in life that left a lasting impression.
The author’s candid and unfiltered approach to detailing events is both refreshing and expected. His deep understanding of behavioral psychology shines through, providing readers with thought-provoking observations on why we act the way we do. Particularly striking is his analysis of social media's influence on our lives and the monetization system that drives it. The accuracy and clarity with which he describes these phenomena are commendable.
This book is not only entertaining and interesting, but also fun to listen to. I'm currently at chapter 29 and eagerly look forward to the remaining chapters. This is a must-read for anyone interested in a humorous yet insightful exploration of modern life and the subtle forces that shape our behavior.

Historia
