Interesting concepts. Interesting applications of hard science facts. The romance aspect, while light, seemed out of place.

A great follow up to The Coddling of the American Mind. A great explanation of how we have descended into cancel culture from both the far edges of political ideologies. Also advise on how to bring back civil discourse. If you can survive being cancelled.

It is hard to overstate the influence that the P51 mustang had on the outcome of World War II in the favor of the allies. A nice concise history that highlights several of the early believers personal efforts to advance the aircraft.

Strangely put together. The presentation seemed to be stretched out with no apparent purpose. The story could have been told in under an hour. Unqualified silences and false dramatics. What was the purpose of the horse story? Was there really a talking horse? This question remains unanswered and is brought back later as some cathartic insight into the mind of Glen. The presenter supposes that it reflected Glen’s isolation and tenuous grip on reality. DR got a nice tour of the states out of it.

The first 2/3's are strong. Good premise. Thoughtful situations that probe the mind.

And then....a cliff. Everything falls off and dies. Story resolution is a bit of a let down.

Yes we earthlings know the ocean is great.
