Historia
This is the story of four sisters: Diamond, Shelia, Crystal, and Felicity, who dread their summer break because of their mom. A timely and hilarious story told through the eyes and voice of adolescent authors about their perspective of Mom's summertime "fun". Young listeners will empathize with the youthful perspective of parents and "their ways". Parents will enjoy hearing about the feelings of the four girls in the story, nodding in agreement from the beginning to the end.

My almost 11 year old enjoyed it!
Revisado: 02-25-21
The book focuses on the perspectives of a 13 yo girl, her siblings and her mother during their summer life when school is out, how daily life happens at their home and their “struggles” within these space was witty and unique. My daughter enjoyed it, I often heard her say “that’s no fair” or “her mother is strict” and then as soon as it was done, she found the other books in this sorry. So, it’s safe to say she liked the book.

Totally intrigued by the mystery and depth of education in the book about elephants in the spirit world.

This was an incredible read, it did leave me heartbroken at the end of the story. I had to wait a few days before I could finish the book, as I have children of my own. JodI is a phenomenal writer and the depth of research she puts in her books always astonishes me. I can’t wait to pick up another one of her books, hope you enjoy it too.
