Historia
The Last Punisher is a bold, no-holds-barred first-person account of the Iraq War. With wry humor and moving testimony, Kevin Lacz tells the story of his tour in Iraq with SEAL Team Three, the warrior elite of the navy. This legendary unit, known as The Punishers, included Chris Kyle ( American Sniper), Mike Monsoor, Ryan Job, and Marc Lee. These brave men were instrumental in securing the key locations in the pivotal 2006 Battle of Ramadi, told with stunning detail in this book.

Great alternative to American Sniper
Revisado: 05-09-23
This was a great listen, I highly recommend this title, if you have read or listened to American Sniper than you need to listen to this book. It follows the same S.E.A.L. team through the same main battle as in American Sniper but in my opinion told much better, Chris Kyle was not a good writer. Give this one a shot, you wont regret it.

Historia
Ninety-nine elite American soldiers are trapped in the middle of a hostile city. As night falls, they are surrounded by thousands of enemy gunmen. Their wounded are bleeding to death. Their ammunition and supplies are dwindling. This is the story of how they got there - and how they fought their way out. Black Hawk Down drops you into a crowded marketplace in the heart of Mogadishu, Somalia with the U.S. Special Forces and puts you in the middle of the most intense firelight American soldiers have fought since the Vietnam war.

Slow and Long
Revisado: 05-09-23
I was excited to listen to this book, Black Hawk Down is my favorite movie and I figured the book would be just as good, I was incorrect. I will give it this the book does go in to great detail and has plenty of actual quotes from the Rangers and Delta during the battle, but it stretches the book out way to long, with a 15 hour run time, I had to force myself to finish it. The narration is very mono-tone and lacks excitement even during the battles, it was a tough listen I would recommend one of the docs, I believe the History channel and the BBC both have docs on the battle.

Historia
From 1999 to 2009, U.S. Navy SEAL Chris Kyle recorded the most career sniper kills in United States military history. The Pentagon has officially confirmed more than 150 of Kyles kills (the previous American record was 109), but it has declined to verify the astonishing total number for this book. Iraqi insurgents feared Kyle so much they named him al-Shaitan ("the devil") and placed a bounty on his head.

Not that good
Revisado: 02-16-23
I was extremely disappointed with this book, it was lacking in background story and actual combat stories, if you want to read a much better version of SEAL Team 3 read "The Last Punisher" by Kevin Lacz, same story about Ramada, side by side with Chris Kyle just told way better. Chris Kyle might be Americas greatest sniper, but he is definitely not the best writer.

Historia
The feds want Miami bookmaker Harry Arno to squeal on his wiseguy boss. So they're putting word out on the street that Arno's skimming profits from "Jimmy Cap" Capotorto - which he is, but everybody does it. He was planning to retire to Italy someday anyway, so Harry figures now's a good time to get lost. U.S. Marshal Raylan Givens knows Harry's tricky - the bookie ditched him once in an airport while in the marshal's custody - but not careful.

Historia
There has been much said about Dusty Rhodes, the 'American Dream', over the years by both his fans and peers. Aside from the frequent fictional prose penned by wrestling magazine journalists and internet smart marks that run rumor-mill websites, however, there has not been much written about him. Until now. With the exception of a select few, there has been no bigger name or personality in the annals of pro wrestling history than Dusty Rhodes.

Very slow listen
Revisado: 03-19-21
Was not really a fan of this book, very slow and not exciting like I hoped. Dusty was a little before my time but his arrogance and non willingness to take blame for anything in his life like being a deadbeat dad pretty much or being part of WCW failure, even if I was watching wrestling I don't think I would have been a fan of his.

Great listen, page turner, loved the story kept the pace going nice. Only issue is the redacted parts I found it humorous at first but became kind of annoying in other places with that said I would still recommend.
