This was a great series. Built slowly and worked really well. I liked it. I loved the main characters and the side ones. I would love to see more of this.

Loved this book the first time around.

I loved this book the first time. This is an excerpt from Once Upon a Midnight Drow. The Audible page does not say it however. So if you loved the first series you have already read or listened to this. I messaged the author and they are fixing the description. If you have not read the original you will love this. Great character a little off beat and a lot of fun.

What could have made this a 4 or 5-star listening experience for you?

It would have been nice to hear all the stories without all the self adulation and dumb jokes.

Has Wild Tales turned you off from other books in this genre?

YES!

How did the narrator detract from the book?

He's just not a good reader and some of the comments might have had a chance of being funny if they timing was better in the reading.

You didn’t love this book... but did it have any redeeming qualities?

This book is about one of my favorite bands and I saw this man in concert in 1980 or 1979. I love their music and it was nice to understand the make up of the group and how things worked.

Seriously a little less ego. According to Graham he helped save the Beatles first record gave Marooon 5 their start and Graham is a world renowned philanthropist, photographer, painter, and sculpture. An amazing life like his did not need to blow his own horn quite so much and it completely ruins the story. Wasn't there an editor at his publisher willing to help him out a bit?

Would you try another book from Ben Aaronovitch and/or the narrators?

For the price they should package a few together. You just get started getting into this and you have to buy another episode.

What would have made Moon Dance better?

I felt as if the story was disconnected and the lore changed as the book went on. The characters were a bit narrow and not very well done.

Would you ever listen to anything by J. R. Rain again?

I don't think I will.

Great book for the entire family.

What did you love best about Chomp?

I loved the relationship between Wahoo and his family. Makes the whole book seem even better.

What did you like best about this story?

The characters were smart funny and likable. I was in the everglades in florida when i listened to this. I even tried to figure out if there was a stuffed alligator at the air boat tour I took my children on.

What does James Van Der Beek bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

He is a great reader. He does a good job of making all of the characters come to life.

I wish the author would write more about this family. Bring back Tuna.

Love a story that lets a Hero be a hero.

It was a great story and promises to be be a even greater series.

What other book might you compare Spellbound to and why?

I think of it as a good verses evil series. I can't help comparing it to the Harry Dresdon books.

Serge Never Disappoints.

Would you consider the audio edition of Hurricane Punch to be better than the print version?

I have only ever listened to these stories and always enjoy them.

Gotta love Serge.

Florida is just the canvas. Serge is the artist.

I look for the spots the author mentions every time I visit florida. I love the stories and the way they are written. I can't get enough.
