Historia
Nealon returns to his family home in Ireland for the first time in years, only to be greeted by a completely empty house. No heat or light, no furniture, no sign of his wife or child anywhere. It seems the world has forgotten that he even existed. The one exception is a persistent caller on the telephone, someone who seems to know everything about Nealon's life, his recent bother with the law and, more importantly, what has happened to his family. All Nealon needs to do is talk with him. But the more he talks the closer Nealon gets to the same trouble he was in years ago.

What a tiresome and pointless story. So much pointless dialogue, Constantly being teased into believing it was going somewhere but never did. Save your credits and definitely use them elsewhere.

getting dull
Revisado: 09-26-23
please please please frank. Stop talking about you and your son. if you have run out of anecdotes and struggle to be funny have some funny or interesting co hosts.
listening to people talk about how great their own children are is like listening to people's dreams or describing movie plots, not entertaining.
I have listened to this show since day one.
time to move on

Historia
They call her Blister. She's a hideously disfigured 23-year-old woman, living in a shed next to her father's house, hidden away from the world. Jason Tray is a successful cartoonist, banished to his agent's lakeside cabin for a few days of mandatory rest and relaxation. One night, while hanging out with a couple of the locals at a dive bar, he takes them up on their offer to go "see Blister," having no idea what they're talking about.

I'm sorry.
Revisado: 04-26-18
I have read every book by Stephen king since the age of fourteen and enjoyed them all. I have never been tempted by the Dark Towers. Don't know why really..... just never have. After listening to a lot of his older books that I read long ago and the recent excellence of Sleeping Beauties that in desperation for a king fix I downloaded The gunslinger. Why o why o why. I tried and tried to get through it but gave up with 2hrs remaining. Life's to short. I love your work Stephen but I'm sorry this isn't for me.

shouldn't have bothered
Revisado: 09-27-15
Would you try another book from John Joseph Adams and/or the narrators?
no I do not think I would try another book by this author
What could John Joseph Adams have done to make this a more enjoyable book for you?
written better stories, maybe that's a bit harsh they just weren't for me
Who would you have cast as narrator instead of the narrators?
the narrators were ok just poor stories
You didn’t love this book... but did it have any redeeming qualities?
none that I can think of at the moment
Any additional comments?
not really maybe this kind of genre wasn't for me I like a story with background and an ending
