Oh goodness
Revisado: 09-14-19
It took months to finish this book. I’ve enjoyed a lot of other books by the author but this story was flat not much ebb and flow and very predictable. I finished it because I started it. She is still a good author just wouldn’t recommend this one.

Historia
Reese Witherspoon’s grandmother Dorothea always said a combination of beauty and strength made Southern women “whiskey in a teacup”. We may be delicate and ornamental on the outside, she said, but inside, we’re strong and fiery. Reese’s Southern heritage informs her whole life, and she loves sharing the joys of Southern living with practically everyone she meets. She takes the South wherever she goes with bluegrass, big holiday parties, and plenty of Dorothea’s fried chicken.

Loved it!

I have the audiobook “Whiskey in a Teacup” written and read by Reese . Witherspoon. Ladies you’ve got to get it. She talks about her life growing up in the South and a grandmother who give rules that I live by now. I think I am her grandmother and a lot of Reese too!
I’m always telling my daughters put makeup on before you leave the house. Better yet get up and “Do Your Face” a chapter in the book.
It’s funny ladies and if you like listening to a good audio book while you drive I recommend this one.
Last but certainly not least those recipes sounds delicious and I can t wait to pull the menus together!

Historia
Tessa Wilson's life is all over the map. She may be clumsy, but this time she's stumbled into a pickle by choice, not by accident. She's agreed to take a month-long trip around Texas jammed into a '59 Cadillac with a drama-loving teenager, two elderly spitfires, and—oh, yes—her biological mama who gave her away at birth. And the ride gets even crazier when hot-as-sin cowboy Branch Thomas crosses into her lane. They don't call him the sexiest man in the Lone Star State for nothin'.

Beautiful
Revisado: 11-10-17
I’ve now read a few of Carolyn Browns books. I love the casual tone of the book. It’s as if you watching old friends interact. I grew to love each character. I loved the way food was commonly included. Being from Texas it sound so goo!
The one thing I’ve noticed about Carolyn’s books is the way she weaves each story into happy endings. I think maybe she falls in love with each of her characters and just like us can’t bear for it to be so tragic you want to put the book down.
Nice job.
