Historia
Musician, physician, humanitarian, and philosopher, Albert Schweitzer was a 20th-century Renaissance man who won the Nobel Peace Prize for his "Reverence for Life" philosophy. The Wisdom of Albert Schweitzer explores this core philosophy, which inspired one of the world’s great humanitarians. While traveling in Africa, Schweitzer recognized that all living creatures have a will to live and believed that through a "reverence for life" mankind had an ethical imperative to aid in the welfare of all living things, including the environment.

Really was not enjoying until the last chapter
Revisado: 11-14-22
There is unconventional wisdom here, but it is not an enjoyable read/listen. I'm glad I powered through, because the last part was pretty good.

This is directly applicable, not high level theory
Revisado: 11-14-22
I enjoyed this book in its contrast toast theoretical, higher-level business or self-help publications. This is step by step, easy to understand and implement. Great read.

Glad to hear it directly, debunked
Revisado: 08-31-22
it was enlightening. I am impressed by his knowledge of herbs and body chemistry, but also shocked at his distaste and displeasure for people. I no longer buy into any conspiracy theories about his death or the persecution for his supposed cures. I think people like him should be left alone to practice what equates to religious homeopathy, but I can see why his penchant for rubbing people the wrong way could land him in trouble with authorities. glad I listened

Terrific workbook....
Revisado: 08-26-22
Excellent information, but will require multiple read throughs and working along with listening. This is more like a University semester than it is a self-help book, but can be life-changing!

informative, but narrow perspective. Do recommend.

Not in my top 10 books of this genre, but worth the read. I had some good takeaways and that is all I can ask from any book.
