Historia
Why do some leaders get and accomplish what they want as a matter of routine, while others seem to regularly experience frustration and setbacks? Why do some leaders achieve their goals and reach new heights, while others barely "hang in there" and survive? Based on his groundbreaking psychological study of the ways that successful individuals think and behave, Dr. Henry Cloud presents a simple yet profound roadmap to help leaders—and those who want to become leaders—arrive at greater levels of personal growth and corporate influence than they previously thought were possible

Too many bible references
Revisado: 06-26-23
the bible quotes were distracting from the message. I am struggling to remember what the 9 things even are. unless you get your strength from religion, I would seek out a different resource.

Life altering
Revisado: 05-26-23
As I struggled through the grips of a mid life crisis, the loss of my sister and then my beloved pet, and the constant attacks to my nervous system at work, I found myself having panic attacks. Discovering Dr. Gibson's work already feels life changing, in the most positive and comforting way. most of her advice resonates so deeply with me, and it also made me see how far I have come already.
Rachel Perry is a caring and enthusiastic narrator, who almost feels like my cheerleader, big sister, life coach, and biggest fan giving me the courage to put my needs first for the first time in my life. I can't wait to listen to this book again. Thank you Audible for having this valuable resource available to those of us who need it.
