It was boring, but not bad I guess

The only good part of this book was the ending, but at the same time it's not because they already said she was the killer and are right. The rest was so unnecessary. I just a run over of the case with a tv host or whatever she is and the lead FBI agent at the time if the investigation. Looking at the autopsy reports and photos from the old case. They figured out that victoria couldn't be the killer, but in fact she was and she stagedit yo make it look like someone framed her. it was boring. Not worth reading.

I was convinced it was this person, then the next, and then it was a group, but I was wrong. It's a good list just to pass the time. It was a good ending, but who in da world was the person standing in the woods at the end of the story!?

Thought out the listening I thought it was great, but for the hour's spent listen I felt they just dragged it for to long, i did skip some unimportant evens that had nothing to do with her missing fiance. I expected a different ending a great ending but I was disappointed. The main character should have came out on top and she deserved a happier ending. Spoiler alert ⚠️ the so called best friend and fiance are pathetic loser and deserve each other and I wished more would have been done to them or at the very least Jess (the bestie) i needed her to get charged and put in jail or something dam!

Makes you question both parties. Kinda hating both Husband and his wife's sister.

It was a great book to read. I didn't know what to think. Like, who is the crazy one, the husband or this wife's sister? Initially, I thought the husband was weird, but I found he's obsessed with his wife. When they found his wife's sister after she had been missing since she was 12. he didn't like that his wife wasn't paying attention to him. He wanted her out of the house even when she didn't have anywhere to go, and I mean, she was just found after all these years; this man has no sympathy. Then she started acting weird, so I believe she was dangerous. Then 49-50 was her side and got even more crazy, and I didn't know who to believe. It was sad that the husband was pushed to the edge by the sister, the reporter, and his actions; though he did something terrible once, it doesn't mean he was a lousy father to his children. he genuinely loves both his children and wife. I would have been satisfied if the wife knew everything at the end and made her own decisions because her sister didn't have to falsely accuse him of doing things he didn't do. That would have changed the whole story, lol. Anyways, add this book to your collection.

I can't believe the ending it was such a crazy twist!!
I absolutely love this and us going to recommend this to all people! you will not be disappointed this book isn't a waste of time and now I found a new favorite author that I have to follow on Instagram!!!

it's a good book for a short story. Dekota did an amazing job if this book ever becomes a movie I hope she plays the role becomes it just can't be anyone else. I wish it had a little more of a thrill to it but other then that it will be going to my collection.

I absolutely love all of the female characters I almost want friends like this but not in a f*cked up way lol. the ending was very satisfying and I'm happy Camille and Janie got close. Janie is very strong for forgive Camille. Camille understand what she did was wrong and some women don't even come to that acknowledgment. Meredith was super smart for a stripper and cool. Cristal was like everyone's mother/aunt! I lover her too she is funny af! u have everything in one book. thrill/ action/ funny.

it was a short listen but a great one!
I was in shock that a crazy person would go so far. at 1st I thought it was this person then I was completely wrong n I like that. i like that one of the character already knew and acted on it. I like that the 1st character believes in then 2nd character. trust and love ! the house was another twist but I liked that too and the face that they returned to it it reminded me of another book. the house is to be trust. the house is goat!

at 1st I was like she didn't do it then I started to think different that maybe she did...this women is very smart/ strong and the moment she knew she was pregnant she better her self for her child and I'm happy with the ending 10/10 thank u!

I love this book and the 2nd it had me listening for 3 days not wanting to go to sleep after working 10 hours. that'd how much I enjoyed listening to this book and the performance by the voice act she did amazingly!! 👏 🙌 10/11 I would recommend!
