Disappointed
Revisado: 12-14-24
This authors explanation/ opinion doesn’t line up fully with what I have been told so far. I admit that I am still just learning and could be wrong. Being 100% honest here incase it helps the next person keep an open mind and try to learn from a second source. I recently chose to do some testing and among my results I received notes that I have Histrionic traits. After talking with an actual licensed Dr her explanation wasn’t that our feelings are fake or just for attention but that they are deeper and yes dramatic or rapidly changing because of the intensity of said feelings.
This author isn’t licensed…… I am definitely not an expert and this is 100% opinion based … I just have to say it. I believe his explanation is extremely negative and quite suggestive of women who have this giving more examples of how women are sexually promiscuous and in many cases fake but not equally giving examples of men.

Historia
Lt. Grayson Masters is focused on graduating from the Apache helicopter course, and the last thing he needs is his gorgeous new roommate Samantha Fitzgerald distracting him. While her smart mouth and free spirit are irresistibly irritating, he can't deny their off-the-charts chemistry. Having just been expelled from college, Sam has no business digging for Grayson's secrets while she's hiding her own, but that doesn't stop her from trying to tear down his walls. Each barrier she busts through drops one of her own, though, and she's not prepared for the truth....

Different narrator for this book would’ve been better. I don’t feel like the character and description lined up with The Voice.

But a secret is like a knot. Sooner or later, it is bound to come undone. When Saeris comes face-to-face with Death himself, she inadvertently reopens a gateway between realms and is transported to a land of ice and snow. The Fae have always been the stuff of myth, of legend, of nightmares… but it turns out they're real.

Love it!! Get it!!
Revisado: 11-27-24
Get it!! Okay so know it ends on a cliffhanger and the second isn’t out yet as of November 27,2024 buuuuut it’s amazing!!!
I love the performance. I love the story and I can’t stop thinking about it:).
I have listened to 2 1/2 books since this one and can’t stop thinking about how much better this book was 😹 so I had to come back and leave a review. It’s absolutely worth a credit!
If you like fantasy, spicy 🌶️ and a good storyline that actually keeps developing just do it idk how you could be disappointed over anything other than the overwhelming anticipation for book 2 😉

Absolutely in love with this story
Revisado: 11-02-23
I literally have over 600 books in my Audible account and this series is easily in my top 3. I love the characters and the consistently growing storyline! You are NOT left thinking how much you hate the main characters self deprecation or idiocy half the book. You actually grow to care about the characters and keep caring. The story doesn’t just start good and then have a boring long middle until it wraps up long after you guessed everything no no no. This story grows and evolves and keeps you engaged and excited for more. It’s absolutely worth the credit. All that and the narrator is a badass :) if you like fantasy at all you can not go wrong getting this book!

Why change the narrator:(
Revisado: 10-14-22
I love the first 3 and I’m sure this story, is amazing but I’m only on chapter 4 and the narrator difference is killing me. :( she just keeps reading everything really fast no feeling or performance in it and at least one voice she gives a main characters is awful and not him at all. So far how it’s going makes me wonder if she even knows what happened in the first 3 books :/. Not trying to be mean it’s just a distracting and disappointing change for a series I have been loving so much.
Edit or later note: I slowed down the speed and that did help me get through it

Historia
When fifteen-year-old Clary Fray heads out to the Pandemonium Club in New York City, she hardly expects to witness a murder - much less a murder committed by three teenagers covered with strange tattoos and brandishing bizarre weapons. Then the body disappears into thin air. It's hard to call the police when the murderers are invisible to everyone else and when there is nothing - not even a smear of blood - to show that a boy has died. Or was he a boy?

Cassandra Clare is amazing
Revisado: 10-19-21
The narrator made it really hard to listen to this I wish I had another narrator option. Luckily I had already read the books years ago and already knew the story was worth it. The world Cassandra has made is wonderful and evolves so well as the books go on it’s a magnificent series with other books branching off in the same world , you can really get lost in it! I strongly recommend !! If you also have an issue with the narrators delivery just know its someone different for the next book.
