The perfect romantasy book!

Read this series earlier in the year and now listening to the 2 books is just as amazing! Fantastic writing and plot, not dominated by the romance which is still present. Great balance! Both narrators are fantastic, but female narrator gets an extra shoutout! Can’t wait to listen to more from Carissa Broadbent!

Loved this story!! Have re-listened so many times for a feel good, cute, funny rom com with a swoonworthy firefighter and romance book lover in a friends to lovers/roommates set up ❤️
Also, AMAZING job by the narrator!! Great switch between female and male voices, great tension and comedy, and easy to tell the characters apart!

Thrilling and thoughtful!!

This story is so gripping! With lots of action, twists, some romance, and a thoughtful challenge to what is fair and just that keep you extending that sleep timer (or at least I did). The narration took a moment to adjust to, however the emotion is written so well in this story and they really delivered in the end. Also really liked that romance was present in the book (loved every bit) but still secondary to the action and main plot of the story.
Loved it and can’t wait for book 2!
