I figured this would be a good listen but I wasn't expecting it to make me laugh, get emotional, and be so grateful. We live in the greatest country on earth and I'm so grateful to have the opportunities I have, to include listening to and watching a true American Patriot (a true leader) every day. I've been a Bongino fan since inception and his level of humility and honesty is not only refreshing but EXTREMELY rare.

Wow is the best word for this one. I had to listen to it over and over in parts and intend to listen to it again. Admittedly I purchased both hard bound for reference. I learned so much - a great deal positive and a great deal negative - about our world and the powers that control way too many things. Well narrated and VERY informative. I wish everyone would read it and apply this knowledge - solidified my gratitude for never being a soda drinker. Created a whole new conundrum with trying to find any food in any grocery store that is not absolute garbage.

POIGNANT. The only word I could come up with that described the plethora of emotion I felt while listening to this. I was there, literally there, so many times. I felt anger, love, dread, inspiration, sadness...and then to think about the immense amount of research that had to have gone into this. This book made me scream out loud in positive as well as negative emotion. I cried more than I would like to admit. Very well narrated and one of the best books I have ever listened to.

INCREDIBLE - SHOULD BE REQUIRED READING

I am so grateful for GORUCK TRIBE for many reasons but these books they have for monthly reading...I would have never heard of most of them otherwise. The Comfort Crisis should be required reading for absolutely everyone. Not only extremely well narrated but somewhat of a "cliff hanger" the way it plays out. Add the incredible amount of factual information and life experiences of the author - I could not stop listening. I will read it again, just ordered the hard cover. Damn good writing and narrating. Thank you for writing this book and sharing so much!

I felt stupid at first because I just went off of the title and was ecstatic when I realized what it was about. Owning a TON of this gear I have often wondered who what when where HOW. This guy is amazing and the organization and complete layout as documented in this book is just awesome. Even emotional at times, especially at the end. Damn good stuff, HIGHLY RECOMMEND. I also highly recommend the gear, it is as tough as it gets, versatile, and the customer service is old school. I would even work for this company if given the opportunity. Very happy I bought this title
