Only a half book!
Revisado: 02-10-19
Can't reviev this title that because so much of the book is missing and any review of only a half book would be some kind of "mission impossible".

Historia
Not since Partner in Crime have New York Times bestselling author J. A. Jance's beloved series characters shared a stage. But now, in a pair of cases that cross state lines, Beaumont and Brady are back! Seattle investigator J. P. Beaumont is working a series of murders in which six young women have been wrapped in tarps, doused with gasoline, and set on fire. Their charred remains have been creating a grisly pattern of death across western Washington.

Very Good Entertainment
Revisado: 01-10-18
What did you love best about Fire and Ice?
The performance. A male/female co-operation is appreciated. Very much indeed.
If you’ve listened to books by J. A. Jance before, how does this one compare?
I've listened to all J,P. Beaumont books released before this one and "Fire and Ice" fits into that collection.
Which character – as performed by Hillary Huber and Erik Davies – was your favorite?
Joanna, with the southern accent.
If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?
Not easy to say.
Any additional comments?
Listening to J.P. Beaumont books is perfect for me during my daily walk on a forrest path.

Sorry Harlan!
Revisado: 12-03-17
Would you try another book from Harlan Coben and/or Steven Weber?
I've listened to all of his books why I really doubt that it is Harlan Coben who wrote this
"mumbo jumbo".
Has Don't Let Go turned you off from other books in this genre?
No, of course not, I like other authors.
What do you think the narrator could have done better?
No, he must been bored of reading such crap.
What reaction did this book spark in you? Anger, sadness, disappointment?
Disappointment.
Any additional comments?
Though there are some strange parts in all his books, Coben has always written very
entertaining stories, but not this one with two loose ends filled with mumbo jumbo between them.

J.P. Beaumont Did a Fair Job Again
Revisado: 03-19-17
What did you like best about Without Due Process? What did you like least?
The best is that there are a few boring parts in this story. What I liked least was "too much Kramer".
Who was your favorite character and why?
I'm used to that J.P. character since a long time why I intend to continue reading J.A. Jance's stories about him.
Who would you have cast as narrator instead of Gene Engene?
Gene Eugene is OK with the J.P Beamont character but I regret to say that several of the
other characters sounds like some kind of joke. A female narrator for the femal voices would be aprreciated.
Did Without Due Process inspire you to do anything?
No.
Any additional comments?
J.P. Beaumont story number 11 seems to be "Kramer Free" why I look forward listening to
that one.

Don't Fit In My J.P. Beaumont Top List
Revisado: 02-04-17
Would you try another book from J. A. Jance and/or Gene Engene?
Yes I will, several of them because J.A. Jance is one of my favorite authors.
What was your reaction to the ending? (No spoilers please!)
Rather different and unexpected.
What three words best describe Gene Engene’s performance?
He is doing a fair job but a male & female performance team would be appreciated.
You didn’t love this book... but did it have any redeeming qualities?
J.A. Jance is doing well in several parts of the story.
Any additional comments?
Too much space for that Kramer creep who turns this story to be comic.

One of the best J.P. stories
Revisado: 01-27-17
Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?
Yes I would because it is, so far, one of the very best J.P. stories I've listened to.
What other book might you compare Minor in Possession to and why?
Some of the previous J.P. stories.
Which character – as performed by Gene Engene – was your favorite?
The female Arizona detective did a good impression.
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
My listening time is usually limited to only about one hour a day but several times I had problems to quit in right time while listening to this story.
Any additional comments?
I've been driving on those mountain roads in Arizona during a holliday trip some years ago and therefore it is easy to understand J.P.'s fear while travelling there in a small car together with a female "kamikaze driver"

Historia
A decade ago, kidnappers grabbed two boys from wealthy families and demanded ransom, then went silent. No trace of the boys ever surfaced. For 10 years their families have been left with nothing but painful memories and a quiet desperation for the day that has finally, miraculously arrived: Myron Bolitar and his friend Win believe they have located one of the boys, now a teenager. Where has he been for 10 years, and what does he know about the day, more than half a life ago, when he was taken?

Strange Mix
Revisado: 11-30-16
Would you say that listening to this book was time well-spent? Why or why not?
Not really. Because too much time is wasteted with "fillers".
What could Harlan Coben have done to make this a more enjoyable book for you?
Created some more realistic solutions to several problems.
What does Steven Weber bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?
He did a fair job.
Was Home worth the listening time?
Not any of Harlan Coben's best. Far from that, but still OK because I use to like his books.
Any additional comments?
I think that Harlan Coben is involved in so many other matters why his time for writing seems to be very limited what will be seen in the sinking quality of his latest books.

Very Entertaining
Revisado: 07-16-16
If you could sum up Injustice for All in three words, what would they be?
Really great story
Who was your favorite character and why?
"Bov" because he makes misstakes just as everybody else and is far from a "superman"
What does Gene Engene bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?
He gave me a real impression of the people in American north-west corner.
Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?
Yes, some laughing because there are some parts with genuine humor.
Any additional comments?
Though a few unexplained parts this story is well worth a purchase.

Confusion
Revisado: 07-03-16
Would you recommend this book to a friend? Why or why not?
Yes, but only because it is the beginning and useful introduction to a number of much better J.P. Beaumont stories
What was the most interesting aspect of this story? The least interesting?
Only a very limited space for the crime with many unsolved questions while the main caracter's privat life got the most of the story.
Which character – as performed by Gene Engene – was your favorite?
J.P. was well performed.
Was Until Proven Guilty worth the listening time?
Yes, because it is important for the next J.P. story.
Any additional comments?
Too many lose ends in the crime matter but O.K. as an itroduction to J.P. Beaumont series.
