Historia
For some people, Alaska is full of light and beauty. For Haley, it is a dangerous world of dark and tortured memories. She's here to document wildlife activist Kipp Nowak's bear encounters. But her real reason is to unearth the truth about a past murder. The suspense mounts when another body turns up, and Haley begins to wonder if the tragedies she experienced in the past are connected to the dangers and mysterious incidents of the present. Alaska Twilight is the story of a young woman's emergence from the shadows of past sorrow into the light of forgiveness and grace.

Historia
Mark Rivers was a firefighter until he got trapped in a wildfire and suffered third-degree burns on his face and body. After a year of recovering, Mark is trying to piece his life back together but struggles both emotionally and psychologically. He's been a recluse until he forces himself to attend his niece's school play and sees Riley, the school's art teacher. Immediately, Mark feels a connection to her. Maybe it's the kind way she greets his niece or the way the art she created for the school play is reminiscent of his late mom's artwork.

good except for high pitch squeaky voices
Revisado: 12-02-22
the story is good overall but the performance is lacking. the little girl in the story always squealing and high pitch is not what you want to hear when you're just relaxing listening to a story. so that was very annoying and the main female in the story has a pretty high-pitched voice compared to most book stories. I guess when I was sent to a story I wanted to be relaxing I guess I want to be captivating and catch my attention but hearing the high pitch talking and squealing is very annoying. the story was good. that's the only reason why I finished it.
