Historia
NASA is about to launch Apollo 18. While the mission has been billed as a scientific one, flight controller Kazimieras "Kaz" Zemeckis knows there is a darker objective. Intelligence has discovered a secret Soviet space station spying on America, and Apollo 18 may be the only chance to stop it. But as Kaz races to keep the NASA crew one step ahead of their Russian rivals, a deadly accident reveals that not everyone involved is who they were thought to be. With political stakes stretched to the breaking point, the White House and the Kremlin can only watch as their astronauts collide.

Brilliant and intense

I couldn't stop listening. I love anything Apollo program ever since I was little and this was amazing. I'm a fan of Jack Ryan and I'm actually named after him. I enjoyed the blend characters both fictional and real. I hope the author will continue to write Cold War thrillers. I can see Kaz being the next Jack Ryan

Historia
This is the story of the rise to national power of a desperately poor young man from the Texas Hill Country. The Path to Power reveals in extraordinary detail the genesis of the almost superhuman drive, energy, and ambition that set LBJ apart. It follows him from the Hill Country to New Deal Washington, from his boyhood through the years of the Depression to his debut as Congressman, his heartbreaking defeat in his first race for the Senate, and his attainment, nonetheless, at age 31, of the national power for which he hungered.

A Must Read
Revisado: 09-03-19
Goodness it's a amazing book. Robert Caro manages to show the life of the Texas Hill country and gives me an appreciation to their hard work. This book makes it easy to imagine what these people went through and also serves as an origin story to one of America's most consequential presidents of the 20th century. I really enjoyed it and I highly recommend it to anyone who's a passionate reader.

Historia
On September 15, 1963, the 16th Street Baptist Church in Birmingham, AL, was bombed, killing four young girls. Who were the perpetrators? Due to reluctant witnesses and racial prejudice, the FBI closed the case without any indictments. But as Martin Luther King, Jr., claimed, "the arc of the moral universe is long, but it bends toward justice." Bending Toward Justice is a detailed account of this key moment in our national struggle for equality and the long road to prosecuting those responsible for the tragedy, related by an author who played a major role in the investigation.

Definitely worth reading
Revisado: 07-22-19
It's shows a relentless pursuit for justice by Doug Jones and the work of many people from all walks of life to get justice for these 4 little girls. It has this To Kill a Mockingbird feel sometimes with it's lessons on in justice in the post Jim Crow Alabama. What makes me admire Senator Jones is his tenacity when the odds are against him. I also like how he shows the good folks of Alabama who helped him in his quest for justice.
