Historia
Hitler’s Forgotten Children is both a harrowing personal memoir and a devastating investigation into the awful crimes and monstrous scope of the Lebensborn program in World War 2. Created by Heinrich Himmler, the Lebensborn program abducted as many as half a million children from across Europe. Through a process called Germanization, they were to become the next generation of the Aryan master race in the second phase of the Final Solution.

Slow
Revisado: 09-10-24
The details really dragged on and on even though we knew most of the underlying story since the third or fourth chapter.

Take an unforgettable journey with the man George Bernard Shaw called "the only genius to come out of the movie industry" as he moves from his impoverished South London childhood to the heights of Hollywood wealth and fame; from the McCarthy-era investigations to his founding of United Artists to his "reverse migration" back to Europe.

A True Genius and a Wonderful Man
Revisado: 07-28-22
Charlie Chaplin was a truly wonderful man and an incredible genius. He never forgot who he was or the poverty from which he came. A compassionate and loving person. Very few books have impacted me as much as this one. I am so very sorry that our government (McCarthyism) treated him so poorly in his later life. For what? I wish that I could have known him.

Historia
On the killing ground that was the island of Guadalcanal, a 2,000-yard-long ridge rose from the jungle canopy. Behind it lay the all-important air base of Henderson Field. And if Henderson Field fell, it would mean the almost certain death or capture of all 12,500 marines on the island. But the marines positioned on the ridge were no normal fighters - they were the hard-fighting men of Edson's Raiders, an elite fighting unit within an already elite Marine Corps.

Semper Fi Sergeant Groft!
Revisado: 05-03-21
As a former US Marine and World War Two history buff- I must say this is one of the finest books that I have ever read. I first heard of Edsen’s Raiders at Infantry Training School at Camp Geiger (Lejeune) back in 1981. They will always remain foremost in my memory as the courageous and heroic group of Marines who battled in The Pacific war against Japan. I continue to read and research the WW II battlefields of my uncles both in Europe and The Pacific. My respect and admiration continues as I learn more and more about The Greatest Generation. Most of all- I continue to be in awe of this fine group of Americans as they, in their youth, battled to keep America free. God Bless America, Edsen’s Raiders, and The United States Marine Corps.

Great Life- Great Idea- Horrible Production
Revisado: 05-04-19
I cant believe his name is misspelled and mispronounced throughout.
This book is a great idea looking at a great life. The basics are not there and could have gone more in-depth at each lesson.
