couldn't get past the narration
Revisado: 11-24-20
I couldn't get through the whole thing, so I can't comment on content. The narrator was so monotoned that I couldn't focus on anything else.

good content. Odd, though, that the author stressed the importance of writing realistic dialogue, yet there wasn't one single contraction in the whole book! Sounded robotic and distracted from the book.

Historia
The Code of the Extraordinary Mind is a blueprint of laws to break us free from the shackles of ordinary life. It makes a case that everything we know about the world is mostly decided not by rational choice but instead by conditioning and habit. And thus most people live their lives based on limiting rules and outdated beliefs about pretty much everything - love, work, money, parenting, sex, health, and more - that they inherit and pass on from generation to generation.

distracting accent & tries too hard to impress
Revisado: 06-02-16
Author should have had a native read for him. He can't pronounce some of the English letters and letter combinations; so every time I heard them, I was so distracted I missed the next couple of sentences.
Some of his content was very good, which is the only reason I finished it. He has a tendency to name-drop, and he embellishes his accomplishments like an ego-driven 15-year-old. So if you can look beyond his bragadocious behavior, it might be worth the read.

Historia
Imagine what your life would be like if your days were filled with purpose, productivity, and time to enjoy the little things. (Instead of chaos, overwhelm, and exhaustion.) You can make this happen by building a daily routine that perfectly blends your personality with your career and personal obligations. Unfortunately, it isn't always easy to stick to a day-to-day ritual. You might be so busy that you can't add anything else to your crowded schedule. Or you might be following advice that doesn't match who you are.
