Historia
In her late 30's, Rosaria encountered something that turned her world upside down - the idea that Christianity, a religion she had regarded as problematic, might be right about who God was. That idea seemed to fly in the face of the people and causes that she most loved. What follows is a story of what she describes as a train wreck at the hand of the supernatural. These are her secret thoughts about those events, written as only a reflective English professor could.

Historia
We were created to work, and our work provides unique meaning and purpose in our lives. Yet today, we are living in a crisis of apathy and ignorance regarding work’s theological and existential nature. There is no shortage of books pleading with people to work less, to find “balance”, to think less of career and more of the things that bring them “happiness”. Likewise, there is no shortage of books making the case that work matters a great deal—that good things come from fruitful labor. This book belongs in neither of those categories.

I love the apologetic that man was created to work and work for man. This is communicated in a creative and powerful way.

Historia
Drawing from a diverse range of theologians, sociologists, artists, and activists, Confronting Injustice Without Compromising Truth, by Thaddeus Williams, makes the case that we must be discerning if we are to "truly execute justice" as Scripture commands. Not everything called "social justice" today is compatible with a biblical vision of a better world. The Bible offers hopeful and distinctive answers to deep questions of worship, community, salvation, and knowledge that ought to mark a uniquely Christian pursuit of justice.

Be careful of different versions
Revisado: 09-10-23
This is terrible audio version and frequently cuts out or skips. I had to buy a different version of this excellent book. This version should be removed immediately. Frustrating to have to buy this book twice! I gave a 5 to the other narrated version of the same book.

Destiny is not a mystery. Destiny is daily habits. Our lives are built on our patterns of behavior: both constructive and counterproductive habits. Whether we attain the things we desire - mental and physical health, financial freedom, fulfilling relationships - is determined by the things we do and the things we don’t. The good news? You’re one habit away from a totally different life! You don’t have to tackle the next 30 years. You just have to start with right now.

Historia
Our world is packed with lies and loss of trust. Wars and rumors of war. Devastation and disaster. Pressure and persecution. Lawlessness and lovelessness. Some days it seems like bad news all around. And with bad news comes questions: “Why is this happening? When will it stop? What can we do?” And perhaps the most pressing of all: “Is this the end?” In this hope-filled book, bestselling author, pastor, and respected Bible teacher Dr. David Jeremiah focuses our attention not on the problems at hand, but on the hand of God.
