Historia
From the moment Sunny Nwazue discovered she had mystical energy flowing in her blood, she sought to understand and control her powers. Throughout her adventures, she had to navigate the balance between nearly everything in her life—America and Nigeria, the "normal" world and the one infused with juju, human and spirit, good daughter and powerful Leopard Person. Now, those hard lessons and abilities are put to the test in a quest so dangerous and fantastical, it would be madness to go . . . but may destroy the world if she does not.

This was a book I didn't expect to like, but I did. I liked the development of the characters. I loved that I could relate to Marilyn's story, I enjoyed that she was strong and grounded to her family as many of us are. I loved it didn't turn out as expected and left you feelings that's life unfortunately, and the Blessings is being ready for it despite your doubts.
this is a great listen on life at different stages as they converge.🤗

Historia
The publication of Rhett Butler's People marks a major and historic cultural event. Through the storytelling mastery of award-winning writer Donald McCaig, the life and times of the dashing Rhett Butler unfolds. Through Rhett's eyes we meet the people who shaped his larger than life personality as it sprang from Margaret Mitchell: Langston Butler, Rhett's unyielding father; Rosemary his steadfast sister; Tunis Bonneau, Rhett's best friend and a onetime slave; Belle Watling, the woman for whom Rhett cared long before he met Scarlett O'Hara at Twelve Oaks Plantation, on the fateful eve of the Civil War.

Revisado: 10-22-21
I enjoyed listening to Rhett's perspective of his love story with Scarlett, much is the same across the other two post the original novel, the endings are as different as night and day but just as exciting to listen too. I recommend everyone read or listen to all 4 books to get a better Historical marker of that Era and the undeniable love story of lives destined to be entertwined thru generations before.

Revisado: 04-01-21
I loved this audio book, I loved that it gave the husband & wife's point of view without airs and condemnation. I especially loved they weren't afraid to talk about their family and how it came to be. As fellow believer married for 25 years I can touch and agree on many points especially that you can do all things with God & you have to be willing to be all things to your spouse.🥰🤗🙏🏽
