Historia
It was one of the most searing images of the twentieth century: two young boys, two princes, walking behind their mother’s coffin as the world watched in sorrow—and horror. As Princess Diana was laid to rest, billions wondered what Prince William and Prince Harry must be thinking and feeling—and how their lives would play out from that point on.

I enjoyed hearing Prince Harry’s story.
Revisado: 03-15-23
Say what you will but, Prince Harry had a sad and hard life. Money and privilege didn’t buy happiness. He and his family are humans, just like the rest of us. So it’s no surprise they have human problems, just like the rest of us.
This book won’t win a Pulitzer or be considered an autobiographical masterpiece. However, I suppose it’s as close to the truth as we might ever hear, especially since I never believe the trash I’ve read about the royal family.
Prince Harry’s reading wasn’t particularly smooth, but it was fine to listen to. I think it’s more interesting when the author reads his/her personal story anyway.

When a young archaeologist discovers a set of human remains, the locals are intrigued. Is it an ancient find—or a more contemporary mystery? Then an elderly woman is fatally shot and Ann Cleeves's popular series detective Jimmy Perez is called in. As claustrophobic mists swirl around the island, Inspector Perez finds himself totally in the dark.

Shetland Series audiobook
Revisado: 04-25-22
Ann Cleeves Shetland series is wonderful mystery writing. She brings the characters and story’s’ locations to life, which translates well to the oral listening of those stories. I highly enjoyed both Quartets of the Shetland series as audiobooks, as well as Ann Cleeves’ other detective [DCI]/mystery novels.

Historia
Already cited on the floor of Congress and discussed in the corridors of the Pentagon as a book all Americans should read, One Second After is the story of a war scenario that could become all too terrifyingly real. Based upon a real weapon - the Electro Magnetic Pulse (EMP) - which may already be in the hands of our enemies, it is a truly realistic look at the awesome power of a weapon that can destroy the entire United States.
