Historia
Is there really a God? Or does God exist only in our heads? Is the Bible truly God's Word? Or is it a jumble of fanciful myths? Atheist Universe details why God is unnecessary to explain the universe's diversity, organization, and beauty. Using simple, straightforward logic, this audiobook rebuts every argument that claims to "prove" God's existence.

Phenomenal
Revisado: 10-13-23
This books is a very fair evaluation of atheism vs. religious belief systems. One of the first books I’ve read that didn’t drip with contempt, but simply offers a comprehensive informed appeal.

Historia
In the courtroom, lawyers depend on rules of evidence to make their arguments. A case is made by establishing certain facts from which proof can be determined. But what happens when the truth seems to be a matter of faith? Can the legal mind discern the validity of one's belief or unbelief? Nationally recognized trial lawyer Mark Lanier turns his analytical mind to the arguments for atheism and agnosticism.

My very first terrible book purchase
Revisado: 03-16-23
This is an attorney who routinely appeals to his authority,He routinely likes to point out atheists logical fallacies- yet defaults to the same error ridden counterpoints. Very sarcastic tone as he completely mishandles atheist perspectives. A complete injustice to logical argumentation. I really looked forward to the unbiased and logical dismantling of the atheist arguments. You won’t find that here. For example, the author cites the atheist argument that the Bible is full of errors and contradictions. He smugly dismisses them as a translation issue. No, there are many contradictions to be found in Biblical text. It’s just a matter of fact. In fact, two accounts of Jesus don’t align at all within the New Testament. It doesn’t change the overall message, but there they are. It’s too bad the author assumes the reader isn’t already educated. This book is a high-school level Christian apologetic.

Audio quality and argument from conclusion
Revisado: 10-18-21
The course is likely taped lectures over decades. One will often notice low quality audio, ambient noise, and classroom Q&A. The professor is very knowledgeable, and the content is quite good. One will note it is presented with the expectation that the conclusion is pre-supposed. This is not a pro and con style philosophical approach. Other than that, definitely worth your time

First time ever
Revisado: 07-13-19
Honestly. My reviews have always leaned to the positive. I can find value in nearly every book I’ve read or listened to...until now. This was arm chair psychology, constantly mixed with grating personal stories, political leanings, and a variety of other irrelevant parallels. It is really 30 minutes worth of horoscope, stretched out likely to fulfill a word count contract.
