Historia
Kevin Mitnick was the most elusive computer break-in artist in history. He accessed computers and networks at the world’s biggest companies—and however fast the authorities were, Mitnick was faster, sprinting through phone switches, computer systems, and cellular networks. He spent years skipping through cyberspace, always three steps ahead and labeled unstoppable.

Being a teenager around the beginning of the Myth of Kevin i always wanted to know more about him. I was one of those teenagers stuck in a dark room with a 300bps modem connecting to BBS systems , and looking for the 0 day warez. Spent most of my middle school and high school time exploring telecom systems and the ever evolving internet.
I enjoyed Kevin's story, I enjoyed the level of technical description, but I really enjoyed was the stories into social engineering. I mean really? People just give up the info so easily? As a telecom employee I never gave up any information that could get my walls breeched, or was I socially engineered and not even know it. Thats how good he was.
I felt at times that he embellished portions of the book, or really just over acted some parts. In the end its his story and it is a wild one , he can say what he wants. Some portions of the book seem to serve as an apology message.
I will share this will my old "Computer" buddies.

This is the last book of three and all I can really say is that this was an action pack series that made me feel fulfilled at the end. This last book brings in all the little things you found in the first two books and puts a bow on it. If you are a fan if Sci-Fi , please give this series a try and when you get to this book, look in the mirror at your grin and be happy. If you read the first two books, what are you waiting for! Dive back in and finish the job!

The second book in the Robopocalypse series (maybe a 3rd) picks up right where you left off, but where you where dropped off wasn't what you thought. This book gave me the same excitement that I got out of the first book, and i'm hoping for a 3rd. If you are fan of near future Sci-Fi technology thrillers you have just looked at a review for one of the best.

Historia
In celebration of the week-long, once-in-a-decade rite of Apert, the fras and suurs prepare to venture outside the concent's gates - opening them wide at the same time to welcome the curious "extras" in. During his first Apert as a fra, Erasmus eagerly anticipates reconnecting with the landmarks and family he hasn't seen since he was "collected". But before the week is out, both the existence he abandoned and the one he embraced will stand poised on the perilous brink of cataclysmic change.

When I first started this book I was a little put off by the language and complexity of how it was written. After the first few chapters I began to sink in and I was able to grasp the jargon used. The characters where dynamic, the plot was amazing and it was a very satisfying book. I am a heavy science fiction reader, and this book was on the mark for this, and a little fantasy. Thank you for the person who suggested this book for me. It is the second longest book I've ever read, coincidentally the first longest book Ive read was by the same author

Fraa Erasmus is a young avout living in the Concent of Saunt Edhar, a sanctuary for mathematicians, scientists, and philosophers, protected from the corrupting influences of the "Saecular" world by ancient stone, honored traditions, and complex rituals. Over the centuries, cities, and governments have risen and fallen beyond the concent's walls. Three times during history's darkest epochs, bloody violence born of superstition and ignorance has invaded and devastated the cloistered mathic community.

Wonderful read, great new characters and after finishing this book I understand how this fits in with the other two. You can read this separate from the other two or in series and its just as great of a read.
Kat is a character that was effected by ELOPe, this was before "Yoni", year of no internet. By the way ELOPe was only mentioned twice in the book. She plays a critical roll in the evolution of everything.
One thing puzzles me, what happened to ELOPe.

Historia
In a steel-and-lead-encased bunker 20 feet below the basement level of his house, a soldier waits for his final orders. On the surface, a plague ravages the planet, infecting over 90% of the populace. The bacterium burrows through the brain, destroying all signs of humanity and leaving behind little more than base, prehistoric instincts. The infected turn into hyper-aggressive predators, with an insatiable desire to kill and feed. Someday soon, the soldier will have to open the hatch to his bunker, and step out into this new wasteland, to complete his mission....

His performance was great. Captured the voices and emotion well.

Post apocalyptic world, with the USA planting seeds of american soldiers to rebuild the government. Sounds like an impossible task, but thats what makes it interesting. Can Lee do it? I want to believe he can! This is the first in three books (the magic number it seems for a series) and leaves off in a great position for the next book. This is not your regular zombie book, because there is more in this story that "we need to survive", and more like "We need to survive and rebuild".

Let me say one thing about this book, "Physics rocks!"
I had high hopes for this book being such a fan of the three previous books to this point. I was greatly satisfied. It had me reading at lunch at work, at work, and up late at night. Its not like the other books, but in its self a great work of Sci-Fi.
It was a great read(Listen) , and highly recommend this book if you love tech, and Scf-Fi.
Only one thing I had to get over, John Grady sounded just like John Ross. My mind resolved it quickly.

Can you make a better cover?

Let me start by saying that I now understand when a movies says "Based on the book _______ by _______". If its is based on it , it doesn't necessarily have to follow it. In this case there was a few things that match the movie but just a few.
This book is written in a way that I could relate to, sympathize with, and get into. I mean I don't know exactly how he could feel but this gives me background to understand. Im curious now to see how the other books in this series goes.
Despite the cover that makes it look like a teen book, it has much more content than you might have expected.

I was presently surprised by this book. The main character was "Full of awesome" , the AI was stupid and THEN got smarter, and it kept me reading. I wasn't expecting it to be as technical but it was and that always makes me happy. The only thing I was disappointed by is that "Jagster" is not a real search engine. I think I am going to like this series.
