Historia
The Real Anthony Fauci details how Fauci, Gates, and their cohorts use their control of media outlets, scientific journals, key government and quasi-governmental agencies, global intelligence agencies, and influential scientists and physicians to flood the public with fearful propaganda about COVID-19 virulence and pathogenesis, and to muzzle debate and ruthlessly censor dissent.

Historia
From leading geopolitical expert and technology futurist Jamie Metzl comes a groundbreaking exploration of the many ways genetic engineering is shaking the core foundations of our lives-sex, war, love, and death. At the dawn of the genetics revolution, our DNA is becoming as readable, writable, and hackable as our information technology. But as humanity starts retooling our own genetic code, the choices we make today will be the difference between realizing breathtaking advances in human well-being and descending into a dangerous and potentially deadly genetic arms race.

Can't get into it
Revisado: 12-09-24
I'll keep it short. A lot half truths that painted a one sided narrative deamed the only truth, hidden in thought of being a free thinker. Hard questioning, but fall short to own values on reality. I can obviously tell the author's perspective on fundamentals, politically and morally, skewing a nonbias. Side tracking comprehension on some subjects pointed out are too complex for the author to research farther, resulting in ignorance. monotone narrator made it worst.

Intriguing story and characters
Revisado: 09-07-23
First off, the writing and the narration are superb. The description is uniquely described to fill the imagination, made more so by the talented narrator giving the characters a vocal persona.
For me, the pacing was done exceptional, easy to follow, and didn't feel sluggish. The characters' back stories gave meaning to their purpose and behavior. Being a fantasy genre fan, this didn't let me down. I enjoyed listening. The story gave something new that I haven't heard.
Though the description to characters and their actions are top notch in filling the imagination, I was let free to imagine how the atmosphere would be most of the time.
Overall, book 1 is an excellent start to the series worth following. Intriguing characters, both likable and loathful. Dark moments and mystery yet to be uncovered, creating weight to see what's next.

trainwreck, pointless
Revisado: 06-22-22
I listen to the whole book and will be stopping at this one save time and credits. William is just unbearable. character development is absent with him due to extreme ignorance. the teenage puppy love romantic stuff is eye rolling. meaningful story progression is sideways lacking. very linear story telling. William doesn't learn to improve his persona and at times find him to be a borderline psychopath then out of control sympathetic. guy is full of himself.

Historia
This is the way the world ends: with a nanosecond of computer error in a Defense Department laboratory and a million casual contacts that form the links in a chain letter of death. And here is the bleak new world of the day after: a world stripped of its institutions and emptied of 99 percent of its people. A world in which a handful of panicky survivors choose sides - or are chosen.

great listen just a rant on a character
Revisado: 11-11-21
This is more of a rant than anything. I just want to put it out there that Frannie is just unbearably annoying. many listeners/readers like her, but she is a whinny little b**** to me. I thought she would mature later on, but it didn't happened. I don't know how Stu put up with her with his type of personality. She signifies a lot in modern day reality, but with a apocalypse type event, I would think she would quickly mature. She made things worse as far as I see it.
Plus, God is a POS in this as he is in reality.

Decent Story, potential spoiler
Revisado: 12-01-20
The first one is better, but this was worth a credit. There was about 3 parts that I struggled getting through because of(in my mind)obvious virtue signalling as many others pointed out. It seemed more of going off on a tangent and broke the flow of the story. But, I can understand the author's point of view in being a good person, so I'll just leave it at that. It's a fictional story.
The story itself was enjoyable and easy to follow along. The stakes are higher compared to the first. A lot of intense moments and character development, for better or for worse. I enjoyed everything that the first book offered, which continues on with ties to video games, music, and movie references. There was one part with a certain city and musician that hit home, since I was there that day at a corey taylor concert.
I ended up hating the young Wade though. With his earlier actions in the story and his potential actions if he were to use his full control. His emotions over ruled logic and common morality in some points of the story. Wade pretty much inherited being a god of a "heaven" and has totalitarian rule over reality. This made it hard to believe how humanity could allow him to become so powerful. Yet again, it's fictional.
I'd recommend this book if you're a fan of the first one. There may or may not be parts you'll find to be forced on ideology. Overall, the argument is minimal to the content of the story provides.

boring, little story progression
Revisado: 06-10-20
I've enjoyed the series and still do but I'll be skipping finishing this book. I had to stop. it was like watching a gamer mess around in the menu for hours with little gameplay. I feel like the new variety upgrades shouldve been known by now to richter, all of which is forgettable. the sexual innuendos are eye rolling. not very eventful and no character development which was the driving factor for me to listen to the series. I feel this is just a side book to fill fans apatite for now.

great so far! Can't wait for the next installment
Revisado: 03-11-20
It would be better if the voice acting wasn't so mixed around with the characters. other than that, I enjoy the flow, the excitement, the plot twists, character developments and the understandable conflicts. The gruesome description of certain events made me emotionally engaged. Easy to follow and picture the scenarios described. I heard of a possible show adaptation of the series, huge undertaking that I would love to see happen.
