Predictable
Revisado: 09-23-18
I found it to be very predictable. It was a alright story line but to me the main characters we just always good at everything and everything worked out to be okay even if they made a dumb decision.

He did it again
Revisado: 04-01-18
What made the experience of listening to The Land: Forging the most enjoyable?
I love the dynamic between Richter and Sion. They are amazing friends that say the best things to each other. They are also always there for each other and are always willing to throw the other under the bus for a good laugh.
What was one of the most memorable moments of The Land: Forging?
When Richter summons his dragon. He almost gets eaten and freaks out.
What does Nick Podehl bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?
Nick is an amazing narrator. He makes each voice he does unique and puts a great amount of inflection that makes you feel like you are actually there.
Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?
The capture and eventual murder of Sion's childhood friend. Knowing what he went through was soul wrenching.
Any additional comments?
I don't ever leave a whole review on any book. This whole series is AMAZING. It is by far my favorite series that I have ever listened to. I laughed I cried and everything in between. My wife doesn't listen to fantasy books but she absolutely love these books. It is different because it feels like a game but it is suppose to. There are amazing references in the whole book.

Actions have consequences across The Land, with powerful creatures and factions now hell-bent on Richter's destruction. Can Richter forge allegiances to survive this harsh and unforgiving world or will he fall to the dark denizens of this ancient and unforgiving realm? A tale to shake "The Land" itself, measuring 10/10 on the Richter scale, how will Richter's choices shape the future of The Land and all who reside in it?

Revisado: 01-31-18
What did you love best about The Land: Founding: A LitRPG Saga?
I love all of the references that are made in the book. They vary in everything nerdy and I love it. Aleron does a great job making me feel like I can relate with they characters and I have met people throughout my life that would fit into each role The dynamics in the characters are just amazing and I LOVE that everybody isn't perfect in these stories, just like real life.
What other book might you compare The Land: Founding: A LitRPG Saga to and why?
There really is nothing. As far as I can tell it is the closest to The Wheel of Time, Kingkiller Chronicles, The Way of Kings and Mistborn series. It isn't as eloquently written but just as grabbing and intriguing if not more for me.
Have you listened to any of Nick Podehl’s other performances before? How does this one compare?
Yes. As always Nick brings his A game to every performance that I have ever listened to. He makes the characters sound different and new. I have listened to a handful of the books Nick has narrated and I never feel like he has ever done a bad job portraying the characters in the books.
Who was the most memorable character of The Land: Founding: A LitRPG Saga and why?
Richter. He is that funny nerdy person that almost everybody knows. He is funny, kind of crude, intelligent, compassionate, loving, kind-hearted, strong, determined, and devoted just to name a few things. He is that person that you would hope you would be in those situations even though most of us would fall short for being to scared. He won't give up in what he believes in and thinks through most of the ramifications of a decision before going through. I am not saying he is perfect in any means. Richter, just like every other human I know, makes mistakes but isn't afraid to acknowledge that he did make a mistake and doesn't try to cover it up or blame other people. All in all he is somebody you would want beside you no matter what.
Any additional comments?
I don't leave reviews on books and usually just do the rating on them so for me to leave a review on this means I loved it. I know that LIT RPG books are not for everybody. I try to go into any book with a open mind and was not disappointed. I laughed, I cried, and everything in between. There are amazing amount of nerdy references and they range throughout everything that I love about SCIFI. This an amazing book that I will never forget

Amazing
Revisado: 01-11-18
Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?
Yes. It is a amazing book that make you feel many emotions
What other book might you compare The Land: Raiders: A LitRPG Saga to and why?
Stormlight archives, Kingkiller Chronicles, Wheel of Time, Sword of truth. The writing isn't as good but he is getting better as a author. This series makes me feel more apart of the story than any other book or author ever has.
Which scene was your favorite?
Everything is amazing in this book. I love the whole thing and don't want to give away something that happens in the book. I love the relationship between the main character and his best friend the most. I also love all of the random references from media to sayings and gestures from everything in life
Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?
YES!!!! I was laughing and crying in the first hour and a half. The way the author writes brings me into the story. I feel like I am having the same emotions that the main character goes through, anger, rage, sadness, sorrow, regret, pride ect. I have never had a author make me feel as much in a book as this
Any additional comments?
This is my favorite series I have ever have listened to. The books are so jammed full of things that there is never really a dull moment. I also like that the author replies to emails usually within a couple of days.

A thousand years ago the gods brokered a peace treaty with the dragons to save mankind. As a monument, the magical Dragonwall was built stretching from the dwarven city of Farreach to the port city of Seareach. Over generations, the great dragons' stories have turned to myths and the treaty forgotten. The wall's magic is failing and the call for a hero goes unanswered.

I liked the book but it wasn't very intense. The plot and characters could use some work. The book wasn't very in depth in the characters background
