Scary. Excellent writing
Revisado: 09-12-14
What did you love best about Tier One Wild?
The best book I have read this year. Following the heros on several assignments and overcoming national authorities. Still winning. Following the terrorists storie and being amazed at their plan. And the end was perfect.
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
I couldn't stop listening.
Any additional comments?

Historia
Nate Overbay, a former soldier suffering from PTSD and ALS, goes to an 11th-floor bank and climbs out the bathroom window onto the ledge, ready to end it all. But as he’s steeling himself to jump, a crew of gunmen bursts into the bank and begins viciously shooting employees and customers. With nothing to lose, Nate climbs back inside, confronts the robbers, and with his military training, starts taking them out, one by one. The last man standing leaves Nate with a cryptic warning: “He will make you pay in ways you can’t imagine.” Soon enough, Nate learns what this means.

Survivor is a great listen
Revisado: 07-14-13
What made the experience of listening to The Survivor the most enjoyable?
I have never had a Hurwitz book and I was so pleasantly surprised. Such an interesting and action packed book but so human. Nate's trials, tribulations and thoughts were super believable.
Which scene was your favorite?
Starting to commit to his own death and coming back to foil a bank robbery. Outstanding twist.
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
Yes. I could scarcely turn it off. Narrator, Scott Brick is perfect.

Historia
It used to be that to diagnose an illness, interpret legal documents, analyze foreign policy, or write a newspaper article you needed a human being with specific skills - and maybe an advanced degree or two. These days, high-level tasks are increasingly being handled by algorithms that can do precise work not only with speed but also with nuance. These "bots" started with human programming and logic, but now their reach extends beyond what their creators ever expected.

Not what I expected
Revisado: 06-06-13
This book wasn’t for you, but who do you think might enjoy it more?
I have many Nora Roberts books. I generally like them a lot. For me there was too much sex. The story wasn't as good. The characters were a bit rough and angry. This won't stop me from getting more because this is the first one I haven't liked
Would you ever listen to anything by Nora Roberts again?
I already have two more ready to listen too.
What three words best describe David Stuart’s performance?
David was Okay. Not remarkable but not bad.
You didn’t love this book... but did it have any redeeming qualities?
I guess it was full of hope and personal change.
Any additional comments?
I have to realize this was her first, I think. She sure got a lot better

Powerful writer
Revisado: 05-30-13
Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?
This is a bible based writer and although not so much religious faith but historic religion tied to current events. I loved it. The story moves well and has a lot of information.
What did you like best about this story?
His writing seems logical and the story carried a lot of information.
What does Patrick G. Lawlor bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?
Patrick puts the right drama for each character. He also speaks with urgency that carries you away with him.
Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?
Hero and heroine captured, separated, tortured. A real tense time.
Any additional comments?
I am listening to all of Rosenberg's series. I hope the next two are as good as the last two.

For those who love adventures that put you on the edge of your seat, this is terrific.

The story is rich in information. The twists and turns give you the feeling that our heros will never win. Then, just as all hope is gone, the solution is there. You can breath again.
Which character – as performed by Scott Brick – was your favorite?
Scott Brick does a great job defining the characters in the story. I so admire his articulation.

Historia
“Dirk Pitt is oceanography’s answer to Indiana Jones”, praises the Associated Press. “Exotic locations, ruthless villains and many narrow escapes - Cussler’s fans come for swashbuckling [and] he delivers”. And now Pitt’s back to find a crucial piece of marine tech that could reshape the United States’ defense program. It is the greatest advance in American defense technology in decades - an attack submarine capable of incredible underwater speeds. There is only one problem: A key element of the prototype is missing - and the man who developed it is dead.

Uneven.
Revisado: 07-14-12
What did you like best about Inmate 1577? What did you like least?
Over all two good stories that meet. Inmate and son story was better than the police story. I found that pretty uneven. Decisions made be the heroine were often not believable. I didn't warm up to her.
If you’ve listened to books by Alan Jacobson before, how does this one compare?
First.
Did Christina Traister do a good job differentiating all the characters? How?
I liked much of her narration except the dramatic yelling.
Was Inmate 1577 worth the listening time?
Yes
